I must point out that being nice is not in the rules at all. So if they want to remove you from the game--they would have to lynch you or get a mod to ban you from the forums.

And Ryan, that game were jowy was Muriel was FAR worse. If he didn't cancel then; he won't cancel now.

I think I was about as bad as jowy was when he was Muriel. However, I've only been lynched once as a villager when Ichabod caused a rush at me at the end for being 'too nice'. The real reason why Muriel was taken out was because Jowy was roleplaying --> being/looking insincere --> looking wolfish.

I don't understand why personal insults are a big deal in general. Most criticism against what a person does or makes is implicitly a personal insult. If they didn't have a character flaw they wouldn't do it. For example, if you call something unpolished your telling that person that they are lazy too. I know that they are a big deal so I don't use them often, though.

Good thing we don't rule-monger about decent behavior around here. Right? It's so far out of the realm of what we do on this forum that we don't have to. That's why this is a good community.

I think we can trust the players to behave well enough that resorting to bans isn't necessary at all. I'm sure anyone peeved about the game enough would just abandon long before then.

Well I told Brick during the pause in that game that I'd stop my RP if it got any complaints In hindsight, if you start thinking people might get angry about it, that's the time to stop it by yourself.

This game will always have conflicts and fights, that's in the nature of it. I think you are wrong about personal attacks though, we need to get rid of them. I know that I've considered leaving games or quitting WW during the times when GoreRipper and Lewwyn used to call me an idiot and a retard every other post. It's just stuff that isn't needed at all. And yeah, you are right, sometimes the line is blurry, and people will be offended even if you just accuse them of being scum without any personal attacks involved. We should still try our best to keep it clean.

That kinda fits his role claim, though obviously missing the doctor part. Do you think you should have gotten to know about the doctor part of it too if that was his real role?

Yup I read yours at least. I just prefer playing it simple and safe instead of taking risks that I don't think we need to take.

I found it strange that you think that Lewwyn is a strong player who'd outsmart the scum and get good results outta his role, but didn't really seem to consider that Lewwyn could be playing us. It's a bit conflicting unless you have a really strong town read on him.
