Roading the pigs actually just delays reaching the wheat by a turn so I won't. I'm going to have one worker move to the forest to chop and the other one start the roaded grass farm before farming the wheat. Wheat gets done in time to work at size 2 (which is far away since first pop growth goes towards whipping WB). After growing a second time, one turn of working the wheat, plus the forest chop, gets us to 30h so the granary can be whipped.
Haven't decided about where to expand to next.

Ah yeah I forgot you were going to chop and had to split the workers.

Here's a map stitch from t69. Going to be looking at this for dotmapping.

How are you going to do the lake horse in the SE? 2S of the horse and then another city 2S of that? Or are you thinking just one city down there?
BTW on the other side of the map the lighthouse-able lake clam looks delicious.

Here's a draft dotmap. Go to town on it.
Orange dots seem like the best of the marked spots to settle pre-CoL to me, due to being fairly close and not needing border pops.

I think if there's a city 2S of the horse, there's no point putting another city S of that as it only claims the tile itself as a city tile.
And yeah, that lake is so good. If only it were a bit more easily defensible, it would be a perfect Moai city.

Something that might not be evident from previous reports is how many barbarian warriors there are. Some turns I don't kill any but a couple of turns I've killed two. The fact we have so many here is a combination of two things. 1) There is half as much economic activity going into scouting and expanding as on other continents. 2) Of the barbarians which do spawn on our continent, we get 100% of them, while other players only face 50%.
Luckily for us we have impis, which have been simply incredible for defending these spread out cities.
Most of the barbs come to our western cities because most of the fogged land is closer to these. The selected impi got a kill this turn; the other one is healing for a turn (and blocked that barb from climbing our forest hill) before heading north.
The selected impi is pretty much covering three cities right now. If necessary, MaA can whip in another.
By the way, The highlighted worker is not chopping as I told Lewwyn. It turns out we can get Math done by the time the chop is needed, so he's finishing the cottage first to stall for time. The cottage, incidentally, lets size-6-GP give the ivory back to MaA, which lets it grow and finish the impi at the same time, rather than growing into unhappiness.

t73: Warriors continue to appear.
Someone built oracle. Looks like Gaspar, unsurprisingly.

It's probably cheaper to fogbust with cities, isn't it...also CoL is probably open...

We certainly don't have enough impis to fogbust with them. We need some for military police, and currently have barely enough to spare just to kill off the barbarians that wander into our land.
What do you mean about CoL?
