I re-read Ichabod, I don't see anything that changes how I perceive him so far.

Spacetyrantxenu, since you're around, care to claim your role?

Can you elaborate?

I can't explain without giving away my last secrets, but my role is kind of our there anyway. I suppose that I can't be more of a night kill target than Jowy, if he is telling the truth.

I'm ready to reveal.
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

I don't want to claim it yet. I'd like a straight answer from Rowain about his role first but I imagine he's sleeping by now. Specifically (for Rowain), what is the name of your role and how does it work? And I'd prefer to hear it from Rowain himself, not from anyone else.

If he refuses to come forward I'll vote him (well, leave my vote on him) and will claim my role during the day tomorrow well before deadline, so long as those bastard slave drivers I work for don't keep me from following this thread tomorrow.

zakalwe, where do you see Rowain inferring he is the doublecharger? I don't recall seeing anything that led me to that conclusion. Also, unless I'm misremembering the timeline, on the night that Lewwyn had his power doubled, MJW was watching him. MJW said that Qg and Serdoa visited Lewwyn, and Mattimeo strongly implied he was the third.

So no one is posting an order but people are claiming anyway. We do not want this. At this point we are running out of any possibilities to gain information from role reveals when the intention seems to remain to have all roles out by the end of the day. So I am going to stipulate a role claiming order. When you claim we want the following information:
1) the name of your role
2) the flavor used in your role (this must NOT be copied directly, but should be shortly summarized).
3) what your role does
4) who you have used it on and what results you received
5) anything further you might ever wish to reveal at any point in the game (any passive side effects and so on)

This is a much more definitive list then earlier so I am including all players in it. Whether town or scum you should claim as soon as you are online and up. Do not claim earlier, do not delay it when you are up.

Qg (my above claim was intended to fit in this outline)
Spacetyrantxenu (you are online recently and have an erratic schedule)
Merovech (the same)
Azarius
Ryan
Rowain
Sunrise089
Ichabod
Jowy
Serdoa
Mattimeo
Ryan
Bob
Novice
Catwalk

I'm sorry if people disagree with this order, but I have tried to make allowances for both timezone/timing issues and other peoples suspicion. If someone else (that I trust, so catwalk probably) had big problems with this one enough that a alternative is superior, then they can suggest it, but I don't want people to end up arguing big about this, which is why I'm trying to get it sorted out now, so we will be able to have plenty of time to weighed it and not have it dominate the discussion around lynchtime. If you think I'm scum and argue against this on that basis, then I did give you a day to do so so I assume none of those will compromise the order. If you disagree with the order given because of where I have placed certain players, then honestly I think we should all just deal with it. This wouldn't be my first choice either but we don't want to get caught up discussing trivial matters like this, we just need it out of the way.

So if I'm reading you correctly, you want me to wait until Space reveals?

So your kill should have gone through on N3 on me right? But I lost my clone N2 to Gazglum. And I'm still alive, so we can conclude that your ability didn't work on me, right? Or did I misunderstand you on some point?

Would you like to actually poke a hole in what I said, instead of that I said it? Because while it is interesting whom he used the item N2 on, I am very certain that he stated that he used it on Ryan already on D3, without any deflection involved, so my assumption is that he doubled up on him with Jowy. His item from last night on the other hand doesn't seem to have had any immediate effect so what does it good to know whom he used it on?

Then to quickly move the conversation elsewhere,

These 3 have not even chimed in at all. Merovech did but I'm not sure that one post counts wink And zak I would love to hear some thoughts from you on the general situation.

Oh good, Serdoa thinks Jowy and Rowain are both town, no further investigation needed! Whew, dodged one there! Good job, Super-BFF Tandem! thumbsup No need to answer these pesky questions, let's just look somewhere else...LOOK A WITCH! OVER THERE! rolf[/quote]

Yeah, and this is typical scum-behaviour. You learn quickly xenu. When I look at your posts from D1 and now at that... wow, did you learn quickly. Going from making arguments to just spitting poison. I guess I know who the witch is smile

Well, I agree with Q that you should claim right now. But I am certainly sure that you will delay that to a point "well before deadline" - what probably means sometimes around 9-10 pm in Europe, right so that hardly any discussion can be held with us.
