Well, I think I see why he desperately wanted that one day stay in execution.
...damnit, Catwalk, I would have been swayed if you'd promised glorious carnage rather than "hey, you should totally lynch someone else"
(though, to be fair, most others probably wouldn't've been swayed by such a line of reasoning)
Now it's off to play glorious delayed action WIFOM again!

Always, somewhere,
someone is fighting for you.

you are not alone.

Oh but I was so tempted Mattimeo Good luck communists and troubleshooters, kill each other in a blood frenzy!
Well, told you so. And xenu is btw with a very high chance village. I didn't try to divert votes to him without a reason. Though I have to admit I thought he is scum when I saw this near perfect split of votes. Obviously now with the reveal, it makes sense that the communists didn't mind at all whom to vote for as both are probably non-communists so they must have thought we only have villagers on the block. And unable to understand the situation (similar to us villagers) but afraid to do something wrong (unlike us villagers ) they most likely are those that clammed up.
Also, the 3rd kill on N3 on MJW was with a very high chance catwalk. He claimed he had visited MJW and the only reason to do so is that he thought he might have been seen and better to claim than not. What I don't get though is:
If we assume that catwalk was one of the killers on N1 and N2 than he can't have planted a delayed bomb and detonated it on N3 as well as killing MJW that night. So we are still having on N3 one kill more than we should have. What could be an explanation is that novice lost his clone but that this was only processed AFTER MJW was killed. If so that would be pretty unfair though imo, so I have a hard time believing that.
A scum Xenu wants Catwalk dead in this scenario just as much as a village Xenu. I don't see why you clear all of his scummy behavior in the past.
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.
1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.
2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.
3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.
4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.
Yay! So that N3 WAS too obvious to be scum defending scum
Let's hope the second night kill was Catwalk and scum only has 1 night kill. That said, if Catwalk didn't mass up bombs to detonate them all at once, then he's anti-fun :P
Pretty much what you got there is my issue. Plus MJW announcing to watch in order to coordinate with "our" watcher, which does make it unlikely for me that he instead shot someone. Just doesn't make sense to make that post if you cannot watch (because abilities vanish after one use) or if you don't intend to. Given, he could have changed his mind later in the night, but I don't think it is very likely.
Anyhow, I don't think I can solve that riddle right now. Another point to take in mind for tomorrow is our setup. We know:
2 Internal Security
1 Purge
x Communists
x Villager
------------
20 total
Now, with 17 players left to divide between communists and village, it seems reasonable to assume 3-4 communists + Bob as the communist team. We know that Bob didn't make the kill every night, because at least one night he was scrubbed. Also after D3 I doubt he killed, as he was revealed by Ryan, so letting him make the kill does seem like an unreasonable risk to take on the communist-teams side.
Fuck, this, I'm a dumbass. New post coming in a second.
N1: Rowain -> zak
N2: Lewwyn -> gives negative as result (!)
N2: Gazglum -> Serdoa
N3: sunrise -> novice
N4: -
N5: Ichabod -> no result (!)
I didn't realize till I re-read my PMs (because of the item I got) that the result I got on Lewwyn was negative (exactly this word) while the result on Ichabod was no result. That is not similar and there are imo two explanations:
1) BRick mixes negative and no result, despite them being the same (target hasn't visited anyone).
2) negative and no result are two different results; negative meaning he didn't do anything, no result meaning I was blocked
First reaction was to jump on Merovech, as he had "jailed" me last night and I thought he might have not told us everything about his role. But he did the same to Ryan on N2 and Ryan got a result. Of course he could have lied about it - if scum didn't target Ryan they could have expected that nothing would happen to him - but that doesn't make much sense for me. N3 he also protected Q to protect him against the delayed night-kill from Azarius IIRC. And N1 he protected Old Harry who still did redirect Mattimeos ability from Q to me. Conclusion: It is not Merovech.
So either BRick really did mess with me for whatever reason or there are only 2 players left who have not a 100% proven that their ability exists:
- Ichabod (only messaged xenu, whom we can't be certain about yet, even though I tend to believe villager for him by now)
- Qgqqqqq (who claims to be a weak version of a watcher, but not prove for that)
So, investigate in that direction please tomorrow.
Also: xenu got 3 votes against him, with 7 against catwalk, but it was close earlier on, with it being 4-6 when the last hour started. I don't believe that scum would have made it that close if xenu was scum. It was easy to push for catwalk. There are a few players though that pushed against me when I jumped to xenu. Look into them tomorrow as well please.
They've got a roleblocker, but didn't block our kill seer or double tracker on N2? Well, I guess they could have blocked Lewwyn, but that was very silly of them if they did.
