[SPOILERS] Seven can't explain that.

Then select a number of Leader/Civ combinations and randomly assign them to the players?

My lack of reporting may be misleading, but the game is already around 50 turns in. But even if we hadn't started yet, I don't see how randomness helps. That's only useful if people are refusing to test the new things on their own, but people are generally attracted to the new things. A selection that people choose is probably going be better than a random one, at least for the first game. I'm not saying that random leaders/civs is a terrible idea that shouldn't be done, but I don't really understand why you brought it up.

Well, I was thinking ahead and assuming you will be starting a new game. I had understood your earlier comments that you especially wanted to test the balance of the different traits, which is why I suggested the fixed leader/civ combo's to get the maximum number of traits in play, savvy? smile

Also, that was such a disappointing remark Darrell, really now...

Ilios wants to randomize which players get which civ/leader combos from a fixed list optimized to test the mod. He doesn't want to randomize the actual civ/leader list.
