Sad spot is an euphemism. Maybe he plans to chop out a wonder there but even then I wonder why he settled there.

Little peek on Azza's capital, building Chokonu's against Jowy. Yeah, you keep fighting guys ![hammer hammer](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/hammer.gif) . I've got almost 3x more production in my capital.
Jowy's getting little bit of heat already.
Back at home, I managed to grab the Notre Dame and happiness worries go poof in the air. Leaning tower of Pisa next, but I might actually slot Ironworks in between once last of the mandatory workshops is finished in 2 turns.
I've got to get Ironworks up before settling my next city right here.
And finally demos without golden age in place. Looks quite nice

Finally the world conference is established, and I get to be the host as the founder
I picked natural heritage sites, since I'm quite sure Azza will vote in favour of it, and that is enough of votes. I could have gone for +3 culture / wonder, but kind of think it would have failed. I have no idea if Jowy is working on any natural wonders, but at least Jkaen doesn't have them.

And now take the patronage-starter, run to banking, build the FP and the others will be hard pressed to get more votes than you

Yeah, I was actually thinking that. It gives huge voting power for a long time. Banking is being researched at the moment.

Oooh....
(the city will burn next turn)
Jowy retaliates with the only thing he can, being clearly last in power
Jkaen settles decent but very cramped site. But more interestingly, he actually accepted a research agreement with me. I'll definitely take it, and will propose the same for Azza whenever I get the necessary money to do it.
As planned, my capital switched to 4 turn Ironworks and will continue leaning tower after that.

Makes one wonder what Jowy was thinking when he declare vs Azza.
And the new city of Jkaen is far better than the last one.

Isn't Jowy nice. First he makes the strange decision to attack China for nothing then he gets punished by Cho-Ko-Nus and then he wants to throw the game.
But he is right. Barring any city-gifting cheats you are in the best position and have the a high chance to win this game.
