So I owe Nakor a report. He left me a ton of signs but without a conversation, I kept his macro and have been working my own micro. Hope you don't mind, buddy.
So here's the southern area:

There's a settler on the Pigs right now to settle at the "5" sign. Not just the sign, but apparently the name of the city. Creativity, thy name is Nakor.
I would have liked to have chopped the city tile before the Settler got there but there just wasn't enough time. I'd also like a road east of the Wheat. Two just whipped the settler and I'm overflowing to a Spearman because I don't trust Babylon over there and I'd like to have a counter if he gets frisky. After that I suppose I'd probably do either another foodhammer unit or a military unit. Three is building worker because its unhappy and angry citizens don't eat when building foodhammer units. I'd also like to get the other wet cottages down by the capital. More on that in a second. You can also see that somebody's fighting, having birthed a GG.
Here's the northern half:

I went off script a little bit and whipped the work boat at size 2 in Four. This allows me to stack on the Gold and get it hooked sooner by ignoring the clams. Gold is such a good tile you want to work it ASAP and we can really use the happy cap boost. We'll get the gold finished next turn and then can turn our attentions to the cow. I'm assuming you chopped the granary while working the wheat before I got in here, Nakor but I definitely would have gotten that Gold hooked before I did anything else. I'm working a spear because again, no alarms and no surprises, please.
I think the next plant, after Six, should be at the C 2W of the Rice. I agree with the need to block Babylon but I think a border city really needs to be planted on the hill. By planting there it can borrow all 3 resource tiles in the area when needed - Copper if you need production, Rice and Wheat to grow. Longer term, it probably keeps the Rice most of the time while One keeps the Pigs that Five is getting and all three of them trade the Wheat around. In addition to being defensive and maximizing the food, it can share cottages with cap to help them grow. The two tiles marked with the green check mark should be cottaged ASAP and then the cottages N and S of Rice can be swapped between One and "c" to let them grow depend on where the whip cycle is. I threw some "?" up as an alternate dotmap if "c" is settled though I think those are all low priority for the moment. I think after that city I'd settle the "C" for Deer/Wheat. I'd love to settle it 1E because it lets you work a decent tile on founding and also with all that food and all those hills could be a production monster. That really depends on how much you trust Catwalk though, that will probably be the further Eastern incursion and hence might prefer defensive terrain.
All these lakes, Colossus would be outstanding here. Just saying.
Anyway, here's the demos for those who are wondering - Noble tells me this is a heavily underreported game, though I haven't been lurking or I couldn't be here, so I don't know.

I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
