Due to a bug (the game crashed when WLP was logging in to unpause for pindicator earlier today), we need to request a reload to dtay's login. The pause & crash meant we were unable to accept a diplo offer that was crucial to accept before playing our turn - not getting it before our turn would significantly alter how our turn plays out, both for us and for another player.
No units have moved since dtay's login, the only thing that's changed is we missed the chance to accept an offer (pindicator was trying to hit accept) because the game crashed and kicked pindicator out before it could be unpaused.
If this reload is done in the next 5-7 or so hours, it won't delay the game at all, because we aren't going to be able to play before then anyway. Sunrise is aware of this, and it's just a matter of waiting for Brick and/or players giving a thumbs up on the request.
edit: Another side issue is there may be other proposals we missed because we crashed out before even dealing with the first diplo window. So I think there's sufficient grounds for this.

FWIW what it looked like from my end: I logged in. I hit the pause key. I heard the peace horn indicating a request had gone though. I saw the message that Pindicator had logged out. I got the big "Out of sync" text that I see from time to time, and logged off.
Obviously a reload seems fine since it's clearly a game bug or tech issue.

I'm ok with reload.
In general, if you've diplo offer you want to accept and game is paused just kill civ or wait for someone to unpause. Don't push any button in the diplo screen.

Question for future reference - does killing civ preserve the offer for a future login? Or if you want to do that, is it necessary to wait until someone unpauses and/or re-offer it?

I know only that diplo offer will be declined no matter what you klik when game is paused so safest is to wait for someone to unpause.
I'm not totally sure what happens when civ is killed. There is at least some chance that deals are preserved for your next login.

The person who this deal (obviously Bacchus) involved figured it out from my post, logged in, and just accepted the deal I re-offered a few hours ago. To be 100% clear, it was the same deal we intended to accept originally. So it looks like a reload won't be necessary after all since no outcomes were changed.
