I'm confused- slavery and nationhood aren't in the same civic category
Probably refering to the turn in revolt that he'll have to suffer (which means no units produced on the next turn).

Yes, I need units next turn or the turn after at the latest, so they have to be built before anarchy
Looking at Civstats, Caen was captured and razed. The main question is, how much NobleGas lost....

So, thinking that I was going to lose just one city was extremely optimistic. NobleGas carried out a very successful quick campaign, razing 3 of my cities, and getting one in the peace treaty. The war lasted 3 turns, but the eastern part of my territory is in ruins
I marked places where my cities were. On the first turn of the war, Caen (the red dot) was razed. On the second turn, 2 more cities (orange dot) went down. Then they offered peace for the 4th city, which is now called Credit Mobilier. Seeing that it was defended by 2 Spears, and threatened by 8 HArchers, I decided to accept
I have Settlers being built, and intend to re-settle the orange dots. Red dot probably was a reach in any case, and I'm going to write it off
Gunpowder should be finished in 5 turns. Then we'll see if I can recoup the losses
As for the other wars, there's still nothing happening. Last turn, Goreripper offered peace for one of the island cities. Which is sufficiently well-defended that I found the offer laughable. Seven/Krill are still trying to get my world map for peace, and that's not happening. They will have to get circumnav the hard way if they want it
So, the post-war plan is to rebuilt, avoid whipping as there are serious stacks of whip unhappiness, especially in border cities, draft Musketeers and wreak some havoc

Ignore the red dot on the screenshot, it is on old city ruins. Caen actually was where Noble's Chariot is now

Signed white peace with Goreripper. Finally. Just the war with Seven remains, and I don't expect much action there
NobleGas declared war on Gavagai. Yes yes yes please please. Them weakening each other while I draft Musketeers is the best thing that could happen
Gunpowder in next turn

So, after then peace treaty expired, NobleGas declared war again, and offered peace immediately. They're not getting it. One reason is that I'm better prepared now, and more advanced than them. The other reason - I checked Seven/Krill's diplo last turn, and they have 25 cities. Twenty five. That's 11 more than me, and I'm still firmly in second place in this game. I desperately need to expand to still have a shot at winning. And NobleGas are the natural enemy after our earlier war

What do you want to see? Pics are still the same, except there are a few Musketeers running around NobleGas didn't attack and didn't bring any troops, just declared war and offered peace. There will be pics as soon as there is any real action

So, as Ichabod posted, it's been decided to concede to Seven. I don't particularly like giving up so early - and it feels particularly early for me, as I only have been playing for 15 turns. I think it would've been fun trying to salvage the position I was in. But with literally everyone else writing before me, and saying they want to concede, and with me not being too involved in the game and having to juggle it with other 4, and the optimistic chance of victory for me hovering around 5%, I didn't feel like arguing against concession
This is sad; as I said, I feel like players in some RB games give up too early. Seven basically had the game won as soon as he eliminated retep. With no disruption from others, and enough land to expand to 25 cities, he really was heads and shoulders above the competition by the time the game ended - which happened when he built Taj and started a golden age, which was going to let him catch up in tech and run away from everyone from that point
I won't white too much about the state of the game as it was handed off to me, but it definitely feels like Mikehendi concentrated on expansion too much. A 14 HArchers attack on T126, after those HArchers have been running around the continent for 40 turns, should not accomplish anything. I don't think I could've defended better, and I don't know how much losing 4 cities actually hurt myu chances (in the sense that those chance may have been vanishingly small already0, but it certainly was disheartening
It was a good game played by Mikehendi at the start, but I have a feeling the mid-game act of balancing expansion with infra and military builds was not played perfectly. Not that I would've been able to play it better - just trying to find the place where things went wrong
Congrats and well played to Seven!

Man, it sounds like you had some rough barb luck near the start of the game. That sucks.
Nice job intercepting my work boat. If I'd known that circumnavigation was available I would have been pretty upset (and I probably would have taken peace earlier to avoid that possibility). As it was, I just thought it meant I wouldn't get to meet Gavagai for a while longer. I declared war because I thought the workboat could pass through some islands - I didn't know that the land I saw was a continent which was out of alignment with the other continents. So yeah, the workboat moved one tile into your culture and back out again, but there was no way for me to know that would happen.
I think you raced too hard for liberalism. No one else was even close, nor capable of competing. It probably would have been better to conquer Bantams's cities instead, and get liberalism later.
Yuri, what was going on in your capital - were you building Taj? Or Oxford? I made all these calculations about how fast you could get them in various plans, and then you revolted into nationalism about 5 turns before I thought you'd finish it, completely throwing me for a loop.
