This is great, we've had a lot of entries. 16 from what I count so far. I dumped them into a spreadsheet to track them more easily:



For scoring, let's go with 5 points each for picking the winner, second place, and first to die leaders. Number of surviving civs and victory type are a bit less important, 3 points for each of them. We'll do a sliding scale for the victory date, 15 points for anyone who hits the exact date, and then decreasing from there down to 1 point for those within 50 turns. This isn't the Price Is Right either, higher or lower on the dates is fine.

With our submissions thus far, Mansa Musa is the overwhelming favorite to win. Everyone other than wetbandit has him picked for first or second. There's going to be some sad faces if he's the first one to die. Second place is split pretty evenly, there's no clear consensus. Roosevelt is the strong favorite to be the first to die, Ceiliazul is the only one confident in his chances. The number of surviving civs, victory type, and victory date are all over the place. I agree that it's a bit like shooting in the dark there, we'll get a better sense for those numbers as we play out more games. Might as well take your best guess though, I'll be happy to add predictions in those categories for anyone who skipped them before.



And a reminder of our overall bracket to this point in time. I still personally prefer the mystery of drawing out the leaders for each game one at a time, that's a huge amount of the fun for me. Not knowing what we'll get for the next match helps add to the hype, in my opinion.

This is a tough one... Not sure why people are voting Mansa so highly, never seen him overachieving in my SP games. Zara Yakob is the best AI from the bunch, in my experience, but his land is a bit on the bad side... I'll go for Justinian. I predict Roosevelt will be attacked by both Justinian and Mehmed, but Justinian will get the safer cities, while Mehmed will crash on the high cultured Capital. He'll snowball from there... Well, just to be a bit different, I'll say that hatty goes out first. Probably owned by Zara or Justin, the one who ends up with a different religion than hers.

Ok I'll say that Mansa will jet off into space at about turn 320

My thoughts on the top two is that they're somewhat isolated from everybody else with plenty of room to grow before they come into a conflict situation. And with the flood plains near his land Mansa has the advantage of stronger cottage cheese
