The first half, anyway. I'll post the rest tomorrow evening. Why? Because teasing everyone by stretching out the drama is way too much fun. Besides, there's plenty to discuss from the first half of this game. Some of you are going to be mighty disappointed in a certain leader...

Oh man, Willy's T75 capital is just painful to look at. Dutchmen, you have forests under you feet! Why do you not chop?!

Don't think Meh is building Trebs for nothing ... if i were to guess, i'd say dagger at Zara ... or prehaps Egypt since they're allready in a war ... but Zara would probably be the better target due to geography

Then again ... Mali might just counterstab with knights

Comparing Justitians and Mehmeds success here shows how important it is to have the right target for invasion. Mehmed has early boxed in Roosevelt with little army and few cities which are also good having gold and floodplains and MoM. Justitian has an enemy which has almost equal production capacity and isn't getting anywhere after taking the initial border city.

Now the civs with the most land, Mali and Ottomans are the real competitors. Mali was surprisingly aggressive and that definitely had good results here. Dutch expansion into Mansas face has worked in Mansas favour getting otherwise peaceful leader into warmode in the right moment when there is an easy target.

Justitians aggression will probably keep himself and Hatty out of the competition if they just keep waging a war of attrition. They need to get a peace. I expect someone joining in and getting all the profit, probably Mehmed.

Zara has done ok with good expansion and his war had nice start, but the problem is that Mansa and Mehmed did those same things better. Unfortunately for him Mansa got most of Willem. Maybe Zara could be stronger if Willem didn't settle near Mansa and Mansa would have peacefully claimed that land. Then Zara would probably taken out Willem and got more land.

Mehmed doesn't seem to have made too many enemies, so there's that going for my diplo-win prediction

With my luck now Mansa is going to lose to someone else's culture victory and no-one else will die... :P
