That's a big crowd you're in with that weakness. Good luck, have fun!

Big news of the turn:

Commodore you're too kind...

TBS and Dhal both can research Astro, so probably are right now. My sole-access to this apparent isle of riches will be brief, must militarize and settle quickly! Galleon can scout out how large this place is (is it 1 island? 2? 4?) next turn.

Dhal and BaII are at war. Wonder if somethign will happen there so I can snipe BaII cities on the cheap. Otherwise won't be hitting him for at least 10 turns

Not sure why Azza is roading all these forests. Maybe he did the math and he can chop them all faster with roaded movement on to them? Skeptical but I don't have full information.

Building a lot of Cho Ku Nu's

Demos (saving gold, before ending turn and lot of pop grew)

6 turns to chaos...

Question: What order does everything process at turn end? Specifically I care about
1) When Oxford is completed compared to when beakers are calculated/put into tech
2) When SciMethod is completed compared to when GPP are calculated.

Probably working around the 2nd in any case to grab HBR, but it'd be nice to know.

TBS still lacks Astro, but has been able to research it for a while. He's also a lot closer to Frigates than I am. Must settle and guard quickly. Bellerephon is pumping out settlers at the rate of 2 every 3 turns, which is lining up very well with the Galleon production of

You can see how close it is to TBS's main coast here:

My "centered" positioning made me farthest from this uber-island, which explains why I think I got a bit more space on the main wheel. Cities out here would be super expensive, but I'll be in State Property soon so it won't matter. (Soon is 3 turns). SP will save be about 50 gpt right now:

TBS pushing up on me in the center. Not well guarded, but means he has naval presence in here so I need to guard my inner coast.

I think I'll aim to be able to raze this place when our peace treaty runs out.

I miscalculated my oxford build and was 2 hammers short... had to run a blank specialist smoke

Birthed GS. He's probably going into a 3 person golden age along with a great merchant (to be made) and the communism great spy.

Demos (I'm at 70% science, not researching a tech)

Here's what 70% science looked like when I was researching HBR. Much higher since everyone else long since has it (but pre Oxford)

GNP should skyrocket next turn since I'll turn science up to 100% and put the capital back to working its Towns, now with Oxford.

Chariots in position to pillage all of Azza's towns once his capital falls.

I feel like I'm doing ok here re: defense. I'm less worried about the timeline for a TBS attack across the mainland since Azza is holding out decently. TBS naval strike is more plausible, but also easier to defend against even with a power disparity. Just have to hold out to drafted rifles, which I anticipate turning into a giant defensive slog on the TBS front for both of us while hopefully allowing me to go around back and take over BaII. Then I just have to out-econ play TBS until I get some military-tech advantage.

Of course, that ignores the naval component, which is a whole nother ballgame. More on that in a few turns once I've thought though the implications + I learn what TBS is teching. He's definately getting Astro, but then it's up in the air. Aim for Chemistry->Steel? Rifles? Follow me up to Communism?

Maybe I should have been more general. So many unworked capital tiles! She should be size 20 minimum, I didn't give you that much greenery to squander it on no size 14 cap, son!
