Well, personally I think it would be fine if we would switch into timer with e.g. 48 real-life hours. Three way split means that this time will probably be needed anyways for some time, and at this point turns are already taking enough time that people get a decent civ dose even with turn-every-2-days-rhythm. I don't know if there is someone, who belongs to the risk group of "I wait 36 hours and then I look when I have time to play" kind of behavior, which would probably be the biggest downside of this. I don't feel too strong about this though and I only represent 50 % of a single civ anyways

I'm okay with the timer as is. Usually Azza plays on time early in my day, and then I play in my afternoon while scooter is asleep and then he picks it up in his day. Pauses are okay, but I'm fine with increasing the timer if people want it.
Also I've played so Scooter can grab it whenever.

The main question is though: why do we've 3-way split. I would recommend using enforced peace time to establish sensible war time turn order

In term of timer, pauses, pace, etc. - I'm not too concerned over any of those and I'll go with whatever.

All I know is the last couple turns of the enforced peace, Lewwyn got ahead of me (I was on same side as Azza the first time around). So it was either double-move or stick with it. Not a lot I could do about it.

I vote against increasing the turn timer. A 48 hour timer would reduce the chances of ever rolling the turn within a day. I think this turn was a one-off and Azza is normally very regular and reliable with turns.

My bad. I wanted first half tactically.
Technically we've been playing with a 3 way split for the last 5-6 turns. We just hadn't made it official yet.

No problem Lewwyn - I don't mind, and I think it's workable.
Also - I'm gonna need a pause tonight, but I will be able to roll it before I go to bed (I'm USA eastern time) - so hopefully just a couple hours - assuming Ichabod also plays in that window.
