Just a reminder that we'll be closing predictions for Game Six later today, in about 8 hours from this post. There's still time to get in an entry if you haven't done so yet.
Winning Leader: Pacal
Second Place: Elizabeth First to Die: De Gaulle Surviving Civs: 3 (Why not again! ) Victory Type/Date: Space T309 De Gaulle builds Stonehenge which gets him out to an early lead, but he runs into border conflict with Caesar who stomps him (with some Greek assistance). Pacal shows why sometimes the middle can be a good thing, as EXP lets him get out to a good landgrab and all those FIN rivers lead him to a tech advantage. I thought about going for Diplo victory but I'm not sure the AIs can figure it out
Winner: JC
Runner Up: Pericles First to Die: Freddy Number of Civs Surviving: 2 Victory Type: Domination Victory Date: T311
Winner: Pacal - brilliant traits, only aggressive leader is Julius who should like him
Second: Caesar - France and Germany look like they're in trouble! First to die: Frederick Surviving civs: 4 (France and Germany will probably die, and probably at least one other) Victory: Space turn 320
Okay Mansa, I'll take Printing Press for Liberalism. Now where did I put my cannons?
Winner: Pericles
Runner Up: Julius Caeser First Eliminated: Pacal Remaining Civs: 3 Victory Type/Date: Cultural, T295 Caeser's Imperialistic, I find, is good for the the AI, as are Praetorians. Caeser beats down Pacal either after getting DoW'd on or warring, Elizabeth also probably dies, but Pericles position keeps him away from it, along with decent military, and he'll pull out a Cultural victory before Caeser hits space. |
