Wow dhal, that was awful. You obviously got that from scooter's thread and have affected lewwyn's outlook on his attack by posting.

Yeah, you're right. I should be less leading. When I was first posting I was more careful, but I've fucked up on these.
For what it's worth, I posted that without having any knowledge of Scooter's thread at the time - I really just wanted to find out what Lewwyn was thinking - but of course Lewwyn doesn't know that.
Should I be doing damage control or leave well enough alone?

Well the damage is already done:

Then they could additionally hit the capital. I just need to move them back up this turn. They'd also be in the open, but if Scooter attacks them, A) he might lose units. B) those units might get injured, C) those units won't be in the capital.
I think I will bring them north more because I don't NEED them more south anyway, and if I decide I don't need to bring them up to the cap (I will spy it first). I can send them south again.

Nah, attempting damage control usually just makes the player more curious.
And don't stop posting, either. People love interaction. But a good question to ask yourself before posting is whether or not what you're asking someone is about something that they've already brought up or if it is something completely new. If it's completely new there's a good chance you're giving additional insight.

I think it's really interesting to see how scooter and Mackoti have analyzed their positions regarding each other and have come to the same conclusion. I think it shows how well aware both of them are of the circumstances around them. This is probably standard at their level of play, but I just really appreciate their awareness of the whole situation.
This game still has a lot of good turns ahead, if you ask me!

My $0.02 is this doesn't warrant a reload. Considering the president sent in earlier decisions, both in the severity and the timeliness. It's unfortunate that a missclick happened but that's part of the game.

Said the completely unbiased observer...
Kidding! i agree.
i dont think scooter should be putting guys on that hill anyway, he needs all hands in the capital to divide collateral. making Lewwyn heal for a turn after taking the hill wont get an equivalent number of replacement infantry in the city... but what do i know?
dem chuks are strong here.

Isn't it better to leave a few units on the hill, few enough that collateral is not cost-effective, but enough to make Lewwyn use a fair number of his strongest units, or a lot of his weak units against undamaged infantry? If they are in the city they will have to fight damaged by collateral. Maybe use only one or two on the hill, otherwise those CKN's can do significant collateral damage.
Obviously, if Lewwyn doesn't fight them when they are in his way, Scooter should retreat them into the capital.

I dunno Pindicator, I think I support the reload.
I know Lewwyn has struggled with interest in this game periodically, and I cringe with empathy over a 100 unit stack misclick. Based on what we know about the two situations, I don't think there's been a misclick of this magnitude before, and we have reloaded misclicks in this game that were due to claimed lag. I think Lewwyn has done the right thing by honestly admitting that it was no more than his dumbness.
