Sullla, these are terrific! It must take a long time to put the games together and write the reports, but they're obviously much appreciated.

I don't have a chance in the "competition" of course with my sporadic ability to post, but as long as I'm here I might as well make some sure-to-miss predictions:

Winner: Hannibal could settle the floodplains and tech his way to a position of nigh-unassailable strength, eating the other western civilizations one by one as they annoy him (e.g. Winston) or grow too weak (e.g. Cyrus)

Runner-Up: Otto could leverage strong traits, good land, and religious (and border) tensions between his most-accessible neighbors to build a lead in land and power from which he'll never look back. When he looks forward though, he may well see Hannibal ahead of him with more and better land and technology.

First to Die: Winston could infuriate both of his neighbors, each of whom shares a different one of his traits and each of whom replaces the trait they lack with a much, much better one. If he could somehow peacefully reach Redcoats before Hannibal got to Infantry, Winston could be very dangerous. Sadly, he is likely never to see any of England's uniques.

Survivors: TWO civilizations could well split the world between them, hammering each other's cities with modern miltary equipment until Carthage emerges triumphant over the slowly-dwindling land of Germany.

Victory: Domination, circa Turn 315

Or the game could play out in a completely different way. Only one thing is guaranteed: The AIs will all do things that are utterly (and, when Sullla describes it, entertainingly) insane.

I tried doing one of these myself just for fun and it was so exhausting scrolling around the map watching everything that I gave up after turn 50. Sullla has the patience of a saint to not only watch but also distill into reportable excitement.

Bsimarck has a lot of room to expand and will hopefully make the most out of it.
Churchill looses out, because he is too close to evil China on one side and evil Carthage on the other. Mao will take the lions share of the winnings. The rest is a hazy blur, where I have no clue what happens, but my predictions stand!

Thoughts:
Ok that is a much different map that could make things pretty interesting.
On the right Asoka will get choked and bismark will get the most land. I see eventually asoka getting picked on, but due to the team weightings I don't think it will be an early war.

On the left I see cyrus going south, hannibal south, london east and beijing west from what is can glimpse of settlers and possible resources.

That means the only non-evil leader on that side of the map gets settled at, making the first war I think against England.

I think Bismark will eventually win in the East

West is trickier, going to say carthage grabs the most land there, but not sure the 3 evil nations will tear each other up enough, probably meaning they cant match the amount of land that germany will generate

Hmmm, this has a lot of interesting potential. I think Bismarck's in the best opening position, and he'll be apt and able to go thumping one of the other leaders around him when he starts running out of room. The only question is which one he'll go after - or which one will foolishly attempt to go after him (I'm lookin' at you, Asoka, if you don't manage to convert him).

On the other side of the world, I think it's inevitable for Cyrus and Hannibal to butt heads at some point, and I think which one will come out on top will depend on which one can claim the better land. Cyrus being imperialistic... weird as it feels to say, I think I'm giving him the nod there. Interesting how all three of the western leaders are charismatic, incidentally. I think that'll lead to Churchill being able to hang on before at least one other leader bites the dust - he'll be keeping up with the charismatic faster promotions, and have a few extra defensive ones to boot

Wang Kon's got a chance, I think, but it all depends on whether Bismarck will leave him alone or not. My gut tells me he's not.

Mao's in an interesting position due to his lack of religious focus, not liable to make either intense enemies or strong allies through religious bonuses/penalties - I think it'll end up hurting him more than helping him in the long run.

First place: Bismarck
Second place: Cyrus
First to die: Ya know what, I'm gonna go Mao and see what happens here.
