Spaghetti Cabonara
150 g dry-cured ham, diced
1 TS Olive Oil
3 egg yolks (be sure to take organic eggs, since they won't be cooked through)
100 ml Cream
50 g Parmesan, grated
Salt and Pepper
200 g Spaghetti
fresh garlic
Onions (optional)
You only need one pot for this dish
pan fry the diced dry-cured ham (and onions) in the olive oil, don't use too much heat, olive oil is sensitive. Add the garlic for not more than 30 sec, set aside on a plate
Fill pot with water and bring to a boil, add salt and Spaghetti.
In the meantime fill a measuring cup with the Parmesan, the cream, the egg yolks, salt, pepper and the ham garlic mixture and stir.
Cook the Spaghetti al dente
Drain the water, but keep ~150-200 ml in the pot
put the pot back on the stove, on the stove top you cooked on, but turn off the heat.
Quickly mix the contents of the measuring cup into the Spaghetti, be sure not to stir too long or the egg will solidify. You should get a creamy sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.
plate and Enjoy
I'm using the metric system here.

Hmm, this sounds like a good game for a barbarian leader.
Furia the Mad - RAI/CHA - Balseraph
Lot's of toys, can go every lane, so it's easy to get lost. Freak Show is a nice but not so cheap monument replacement. They have a lot of events which are doubled - though she is neutral so less events there, still... Good on the recon line which might be nice to take since animals are doubled. WS is a long golden age, won't be a game changer but will almost always be useful.
Jonas Endain - SPI/EXP - Clan of Embers
Well, certainly a more economic option, SPI saves a lot of anarchy turns, while EXP let's you guess what... expand faster. Wold spell can be great or shitty, in all my single player games - and I remember I have tested the WS - it was shitty. Warrens are incredibly good, I guess a slavery warren combination with tight city spam without going for culture except on some chosen spots might be nice. It is however so luck based, getting a lot of scouts out there with doubled animals might result in some early wolf riders or in wasted hammers. Rantine can take over barb cities which is certainly nice with raging, but they will rarely be in desired spots.
Sheelba - AGG/ORG - Clan of Embers
Don't like the combi of early game AGG and late game ORG to be honest.
Charadon - AGG/CHA - Dovellio
Well TBS showcased just how fucking powerful he can be, certainly an interesting option. I hate it that he used hosts, I always wanted to use them, since they are the best summons for Mages. So if I pick Chara I'd probably just do a reprise of what TBS did, but probably worse.
Averax the Cambion - AGG/CRE - Sheaim
Hmm, the pyre zombies are just great, since we got culture done, we can focus on a military or economic path completely. But hey... oh yeah no good options for them on those paths, at least thats what I think, if I research a religion I don't need CRE. Pyre zombies will certainly hold for quite a while but no other unit up the melee line to upgrade into is shit. The recon line is totally unbuffed so I doubt it'll do too good in actual wars. That leaves the mage line, it's way too late for an barbarian leader and it lacks a good core unit, and why would you need collateral dmg pyre zombies if you go for mages. Planar gates suck. Yeah I don't like Averax.
So I think:
1. Furia the Mad
2. Jonas Endain
3. Charadon
But lurkers feel free to throw something else in there, I'm not sure how I like these picks, but I'm out of ideas.
EDIT:
Ohh I've got one more: fast summon and take over Hyborem.

Uhh a settler with starting boni, we've got options here, thats nice.
Moved 1 NW and settled, Ancient Chants first since I can't see any luxury besides Ivory, and I might just go for Education next depending on scouting. If I find some luxuries I'll probably go for the tech I need to hook them up and if not it's Education -> Exploration -> Hunting -> Mysticism -> Way of the Forest.
And if I go for Education I just might go for a really early Loki here, I'm not gonna play nice this game.

So far didn't find any luxuries but there are 3 unique features in the shadows, one is Letum Frigus which I "popped" this turn with my scout, no free aggressive trait for you. The other one has to be the remenants, I can barely see the sign in the shadows but it ends with "tria" so that should be them. And there is a third, I can only see that there is one, no clue which, they are all a bit away from my starting location, but the remenants of patria are reasonable close.
I'm still debating education next vs exploration -> hunting, but I'm leaning towards Edu.

Well, state of the game is, I finally got education. I also planted my first city on turn 35. I plan to add another one soon.
Tech pace is awful, with no real commerce sources, I hope early education can rectify this. The Unique Feature I hadn't revealed is Yigdrasil.
Demographic wise I'm in the middle with a lot of food. I'm still leaning towards Hunting, and maybe even Loki, though I haven't found anyone yet. An immortal scout sounds nice.

How does one remove "scrub" again?

And so the Crazy Tree Hugging Balseraphs asked the veteran Orc Warrior to Help their ruler Yellow Dominate the land:
Kragroth: Hmm, This is very strange place. Kragroth must think
Hmm, mounted hero not have much retreat at all. Went for Drill. I suppose Drill is good for stay alive. But Horse Archer Immune to first strikes! Surely Hippus enemy have horse archers soon no? If so, Kithra only have Strength and retreat to fall back on. Very important for Horseman to have retreat.
Yellow like Fawn much. Kragroth not like Fawn. Fawn no use copper. Fawn only turn into Satyr. But, very hard to turn into Satyr and expensive and Satyr be 9/4 Strength (that mean Satyr easy to kill and Kragroth no like).
Yellow has many big cities. This very nice. But, small military. Guardian of nature help well in making big happy cities. Ancient forests make better bigger happy cities.
What?! Yellow not using Guardian of nature?! It very worth it! Go use it now! Make big cities happier again! No Unhappy Citizens!
Kragroth think most other leaders very silly
Luchiurp have junk Civics. Illian have Conquest. Illians, you silly, 2 starting promotions is not worth the lack of growth! Sheelba has military strategy and foreign trade. Sheelba may already have built command posts and is forgoing apprenticeship. Still, that makes me sad. Me no like. Kragroth like more xp. Foreign trade tells Kragroth that Shelba is stalling for tech. Only Tasunke seems to have decent civics.
Hmm, Power very high for Sheelba. She must have many orcs hidden in her borders. It important for yellow to know what Sheelba and other enemies actually have in their territories. Yellow needs a parrot
Yes, it takes some turns. But Yellow needs to know his enemy better. This best way methinks.

Kragroth feel very strongly about a few things.
1. Fawns are weak, they are a second class defender and not suited to defend what our opponents can throw at us.
2. Enemies will win in the xp war.
3. Horse Archer is the quickest unit that can win the war for us.
4. We're not far off from having Warhorses Tech.
We could do the following, get stirrups while building stables in the high production towns. Get stirrups then get military strategy to build the heroic epic. Then we beeline Warhorses to build the Ride of Nine Kings and the Knights.
Suddenly we would have very competitive versatile units with more xp than our enemies. We might consider settling a city on top of our one horse since it's so critical.
We might need to resort to politics to win. At the moment we have little to defend us from a big army. Bonus Treants, a few disposable fawns and 1 hero will only go so far. It's questionable if we have the time to beeline all these techs but we have to try.
I have no idea what Loki is doing, but I'd rather him culture up new cities or something. It seems that he's not being used to hurt the Luchiurp

Loki can burn that city down in one turn or steal it for myself. It's very tempting to do so. Unfortunately, the Luchirup could kill him in one turn by surrounding him because there are 11 wood golems in that stack. Waiting a couple of turns for the army to invade might do the trick. Alternatively, Loki could wait until they capture a critical city (their old capitol) and then burn it down or something.
