Demo's GA with 100% science. I can get Mercantilism in 4 turns, and it will be a net benfit over running nothing. After that it's going to be Gunpowder so I have access to musketmen. I'm not going to be getting rifles anytime soon as right after I grab Military tradition. I'll be heading over to astronomy since just about all my cities are coastal right now. So the Grendiar line will probably be what I head towards. Also if I can manage to successfully conquer Gawd that means I'll have access to representation with mids so Mercantilism will be a huge payoff after that. Though that's only going to happen in about 40 Turns. Another problem is Zanth, I don't think he would let me conquer Gawd without some kind of strike. So that's why I want some kind of Naval power so I can protect myself if he comes at me.
