Mattimeo forgot about the "no lynch" option. I'm not going to correct him as forgetting is a mistake and not confusion about anything I said or telling what I would do if something happens.
The wolfs think its very lame that Mattimeo gets a free pass for inactivity.
If the village takes out a spammer I'll just say that the people who rage-quit, weakling Realms Beyond, cancels out the decrease in spam. On a precipice...

I love how no-one is putting mattimeo under any pressure.
I think Zak wants to kill novice and is just bullshiting around for meta reasons.
Edit:
"So how the hell do we time the no lynches with everyone monitoring the thread?"--wolf
RB forum clock is accurate within 10 seconds. So if you stuff it in at 3:00:50 you win.
Edit 2: It has to be 20 seconds because RB lags at werewolf deadline.

Sorry about the meta play. At the time I was mostly thinking about towny points and didn't realize it was under the line.

This was a great game, thanks for hosting MJW. I rather liked the player count, allowed us to get the game concluded quickly and it didn't become a massive time drain where you just can't sift through all the information. I didn't like the lurking, though. Nothing personal Mattimeo and Azza (especially if something came up), I like you both, but I feel it's a huge game changer that should be avoided. Both for sake of fairness and for sake of fun.
My argumentative skills were awful this game, but I think my scum hunting is improving a little. I need to be more careful with how I word posts, but I'm really worried everybody will think me scum if I started doing that

Also thanks to everybody for impeccable manners ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) We should have more of those games.

Different player styles make for interesting games, you should join the next one.
Thanks for the game, everyone.
I don't think there was outrageous lurking in this game, but we the low player count combined with incompatible time zones did hamper communication. I still think a 13-player game is more of a sweet spot.
I hope nobody reading this game thinks profile camping is suddenly the new standard at RB. There's little doubt it should be banned in all games we play. (Although defining it a bit more precisely could be in order - e.g. don't talk about people's online status).
I have to run.

It's always amusing to read a lurker thread where everybody is clamoring for my lynch.
I hope people have been taking notes and adjusted their baselines for me.
Anyway, I could have played better, but we were up against a strong pair this time. Meiz did a great job stalling my push against Novice on day 2. Looking back with a bit of introspection, I think I knew deep down that Novice was the correct lynch on that day, but I didn't have the guts to go through with it. Of course, others were also pushing for Meiz, so collectively, we were very much on the ball.
If Azza had claimed a few minutes earlier, I think Novice would have gone down. Instead, that close call gave me my spurious town read on Meiz (that, plus the meta thing). So I'd say it was a very close game, overall.
Gameplay-wise, it felt kind of sluggish, but that was perhaps because I spent so much time trying to get some good cooperative scum hunting going with Meiz and Novice.
@MJW. I agree that the setup favors town, on paper, but with the level of play we consistently see from scum here, I think it's playable. Thanks for hosting a very smoothly run game.
If you know what I mean.

I've made by final posts in the game thread.
Zak, is that meta-thing Meiz talking about profile-camping? I would think I wouldn't fall for that for reasons I've said in the thread but their is no way to know for sure...

Except I wasn't lurking.
