Yep, realised at that point I needed to attack somebody, but then I saw how heavily behind in tech I was and just whimpered in the corner.

No problem. Though it was more just rolling random maps, praying to the RNG and checking them afterwards, since you cannot edit the maps. I rolled dozens of maps and they all sucked. Either the capitals were extremely imbalanced or someone was isolated in a continent far away, while the others were clumped into one land mass. This map was one of the few that I deemed playable, even though it is far from perfect.
