To be honest I don't see what was so good about Rowain's post.

For my part, I thought it was a good post in the sense that it nudged me closer to believing that he's town.

Simple are you and Jabbz going to play like zak+novice. = You attack one and the other jumps on you (because that's what you did). Do you feel compelled to save Jabbz from a lynch? Do you feel the strong urge to defend him no matter how scummy he is? Do you prefer to lynch villagers over your buddy? Are you and Jabbz planning to play the same like novice + zak that's what I wanted to know.

If yes I hope to lynch one of you 2 because one such pair is bad enough. If no why did you run to defend Jabbz the instance he got attacked?

This is what I found good, and it was an angle I simply hadn't considered - thus in your usual way there was a depth to the post beyond what I had seen.
Good I meant as in it was good and in-depth reasoning that showed a depth and substance to your earlier actions that I honestly wasn't expecting and brought up a way of considering the Azarius/Jabbz interactions that I hadn't thought of (that is, the protectiveness that might come from having introduced someone to a game that one enjoys and thus wants ones friends to enjoy, potentially beyond reason). It does make me lean further town on you, but that wasn't what I meant there.

How was I lazy, Commodore? Or are you saying his actions were lazy?
Either way, I disagree. I was reading scum on him because he seemed to be putting too much effort into bringing a tell to light, not too little. And, I don't get it for me either - I saw a tell and elaborated as to why I thought it was one, which is lazy how?

I would say that it should be obvious that there is a difference between lazy people and people who just haven't posted yet. since at the start of the game you know very well that non-posters get voted, and that you yourself once the game gets going don't really have the massive post volume as others here have.

It seems clear to me that he was saying "I'm only voting for you because you haven't posted yet, and once you do I will switch off because I don't chase lurkers", and he has been consistent with that. You trying to stretch his words out to say that he's being contradictory is worrysome, and I don't like your very shortened quotes of what he does say. Reeks to me of trying to keep quotes out of context to bend them to what you want us to hear, not what was said.

Yeah, because the beginning voting phase of just voting for people who aren't here yet has to continue on until everyone's posted, and he's not allowed to make a case on someone he thinks is suspicious until then.

Oooh, and looking at your other big post, you ALSO condemned Catwalk for his post that was pretty bad (and pretty Catwalk). I agree that that is a good vote, you don't need to vote people just on past actions and not this game Catwalk but surely you had to have realized Mattimeo that it was not a bad thing that Goredore did there.



Also regarding Goredore's comment about "Game Manager has me on ignore", Commodore told me IRL that Jowy likely has Commodore's account on ignore, so he was making a joke based on something present, not just throwing crap out there. Though I agree we should stay away from that sorta talk in this game.

Zak, I would also agree that in a vacuum Hashoosh's first post there does seem scummy, but have you read much of his dedlurking in previous Civ games on here? His talking style has always been kinda out there wherever he's been, and this fits right into it, so I'd would give him a slight pass on that for now and wait for more content from him.

From your post against Goreripper, I'm a bit confused at some of your wording. Do you consider voting for someone because they have not posted in the thread yet as a bad reason to vote, or not a reason at all. You seem to indicate both are true.... And what exactly do you mean here?

I also don't see a big deal about making a tiny comment about the updated setup info, I couldn't access the wiki page earlier.

Also a note, yes I'm suspicious of both Catwalk and Mattimeo even though they voted for each other. Way too soon to try and divine if it is but early cross scum votes to build up a history isn't out of the question. Not saying it's what we have here, but it's why I feel okay wanting to pressure the both of them.
