The girl scout cookie is a Tagalong. Because Catwalk is a tag along.

Again Catwalk it is not because of your supposed reasons. It is because I do not hear conviction in your reasons more a desire to just follow along on a vote that will not get you personally in trouble. Same here in fact.

Rowain I think Hashoosh is probably aware of the irony there but he does at least have more than one single post in the thread.

Mightbe. But lurking the whole day and then come and vote the one guy who had just as few posts as he himself for lurking and that 5 hours before lynch is lets say lazy.

I am not getting a lazy feel from him actually more self conscious and nervous and just trying to come up with some thing kind of justifiable. Which would be very mafia from an experienced guy but seems like perfectly natural newbie behavior.

Well I wasn't actually lurking, I posted as soon as I'd realized this started. I'm also just waking up, to put things in perspective. I posted last night and went to sleep/passed out

Exactly. You claimed to be passionate in your defence of lazy people, as a reason for switching off an inactive who'd then posted, but there had been absolutely no evidence of that this game.
That quote should possibly have been separated slightly from the first two. I completely understand the thought process involved in the first two - vote someone, then switch when they show up - but I was confused as to why you picked me and then didn't follow up with the other absent person when I showed up.
Pointing out that quote was more of a "you're claiming this to justify a move that doesn't need justification, and there is no evidence to support this claim."

Possibly should have made that more clear. Vote for you was not based on your voting me for not having shown up at that point, or taking it off me when I did show up. That's an entirely valid method of delaying casting a real vote on D1.

Quote:I could have moved on to Hashoosh but a bad smell is better to follow than no smell at all. Ergo Catwalk.
Fair enough. Though I disagree that what you claimed was a 'bad smell' about Catwalk is remotely valid. Providing a reason why lurking is bad, to clarify a vote on a lurker. Not generally what I'd term 'hedging'.
Hence why I find the move to him, rather than sticking with the 'lynch the no-shows' baffling, and likely indicative of that reasoning being a front for whatever actual reason you were voting for me.

Conclusion: vote for you not based on 'X hasn't show up. vote. X has shown up. unvote' but rather that it was applied inconsistently, with an obviously fabricated case coming up to trump it when the base formula would have you voting for Hashoosh.

And then there's BRick. First up, utterly misrepresenting my case on GoreRipper. Though given GoreRipper also misunderstood it, I'm not sure I can hold it against him. Unless Gore was just capitalising on the incorrect view that was already out there.
Then, he continues to fail at reading comprehension with the me/Catwalk bit. I can understand the initial error there, sure, but he also quotes part of the post in which I apologised for my own read error, to use in his attack on me. That's edging possibly a bit too much towards 'malicious' territory, missing an entire paragraph of a post you're dissecting to misrepresent someone.

So. I'm not liking either GoreRipper or BRickAstley at this point. And would normally be trying to work out which way to split my vote there, likely resulting in sitting where it is. However, it's D1. Day of the "lynch at almost random because we have literally no info". And I'm willing to give them both some more rope to hang themselves with. Because we have Ryan, with one absolutely content-less post, 4 hours after the game started, who has not shown up since. I'm better than that, with at least an attempt at actual content, and several posts after I realised the game had started, halfway through the day. Even Hashoosh is better than that, and appears to be at least trying after his dismal initial reaction speed, with threefour posts and an actual vote. But Ryan definitely knows the game is on, and hasn't contributed anything. Hell, even last game, where I was the worst I've ever been, I managed a second post (with a vote) 12 hours before deadline. And if I'd been anyone else I would have been arguing for my lynch in that situation as well.

Goreripper, how can you see it as scummy to vote for someone that others are voting for already? If anything, you stick your neck out more by putting more pressure on a player. A single vote is easy and safe, especially day 1. I voted Mattimeo irrespective of your vote, and I voted you for your reaction to that vote. How convinced do you expect me to be on D1? It's possible that I'm reading too much into it, but it feels like you're trying to provoke a safe target to save yourself. It's possible I'm way off seeing that as scummy play, but I'm still leaning that way. I'll look at other leads too, haven't had much time to sit down yet as this has been a crazy week.

unvote

I feel like you've addressed what I tried to point at well Mattimeo.

I don't really know who or what to go for right now. Ryan is the obvious prod choice, though I really doubt a Ryan scum would languish like this. Jabbaz and Hashoosh seem fine enough for 1st day 1st time players I don't think either of them is lynchworthy. Mattimeo and Catwalk are both fine now that I've seen what I've mistaken with them. Goreripper.... I have to say I'm influenced on reading him because I know him IRL, and he sounds more right now like a kid who wants to dance around and thumb his nose at you more than anything guilty or worthy of being lynched.

So IDK. Lunch Hour is going to be right before deadline so maybe I can come to something more conclusive by then.

...and I just realised I failed at using 'GoreRipper' there. Completely unintentionally. gg.

In other news I'm too busy re-playing ME2 to sleep. So I'll be around closer to the deadline. Given it's at 5am though, I'll probably want to crash at least some time before it. If I am actually here at deadline, someone yell at me to get some damn sleep, please wink
