Exactly. You claimed to be passionate in your defence of lazy people, as a reason for switching off an inactive who'd then posted, but there had been absolutely no evidence of that this game.
That quote should possibly have been separated slightly from the first two. I completely understand the thought process involved in the first two - vote someone, then switch when they show up - but I was confused as to why you picked me and then
didn't follow up with the other absent person when I showed up.
Pointing out that quote was more of a "you're claiming this to justify a move that doesn't need justification, and there is no evidence to support this claim."
Possibly should have made that more clear. Vote for you was not based on your voting me for not having shown up at that point, or taking it off me when I did show up. That's an entirely valid method of delaying casting a real vote on D1.

Fair enough. Though I disagree that what you claimed was a 'bad smell' about Catwalk is remotely valid. Providing a reason why lurking is bad, to clarify a vote on a lurker. Not generally what I'd term 'hedging'.
Hence why I find the move to him, rather than sticking with the 'lynch the no-shows' baffling, and likely indicative of that reasoning being a front for whatever actual reason you were voting for me.
Conclusion: vote for you not based on 'X hasn't show up. vote. X has shown up. unvote' but rather that it was applied inconsistently, with an obviously fabricated case coming up to trump it when the base formula would have you voting for Hashoosh.
And then there's BRick. First up, utterly misrepresenting my case on GoreRipper. Though given GoreRipper also misunderstood it, I'm not sure I can hold it against him. Unless Gore was just capitalising on the incorrect view that was already out there.
Then, he continues to fail at reading comprehension with the me/Catwalk bit. I can understand the initial error there, sure, but he also quotes part of the post in which I apologised for my own read error, to use in his attack on me. That's edging possibly a bit too much towards 'malicious' territory, missing an
entire paragraph of a post you're dissecting to misrepresent someone.
So. I'm not liking either GoreRipper or BRickAstley at this point. And would normally be trying to work out which way to split my vote there, likely resulting in sitting where it is. However, it's D1. Day of the "lynch at almost random because we have literally no info". And I'm willing to give them both some more rope to hang themselves with. Because we have
Ryan, with one absolutely content-less post, 4 hours after the game started, who has not shown up since. I'm better than that, with at least an attempt at actual content, and several posts after I realised the game had started, halfway through the day. Even Hashoosh is better than that, and appears to be at least trying after his dismal initial reaction speed, with
threefour posts and an actual vote. But Ryan definitely knows the game is on, and hasn't contributed
anything. Hell, even last game, where I was the worst I've ever been, I managed a second post (with a vote) 12 hours before deadline. And if I'd been anyone else I would have been arguing for my lynch in that situation as well.
Commodore - that enough 'hedging' around a vote for you?
