WW33 - Walking Dead [GAME THREAD]

Okay. So you voted me because do not believe my sincerity. That is reasonable after all it is why I am voting for Catwalk.

And would normally be trying to work out which way to split my vote there, likely resulting in sitting where it is. However, it's D1. Day of the "lynch at almost random because we have literally no info". And I'm willing to give them both some more rope to hang themselves with. Because we have Ryan, with one absolutely content-less post, 4 hours after the game started, who has not shown up since. I'm better than that, with at least an attempt at actual content, and several posts after I realised the game had started, halfway through the day. Even Hashoosh is better than that, and appears to be at least trying after his dismal initial reaction speed, with threefour posts and an actual vote. But Ryan definitely knows the game is on, and hasn't contributed anything. Hell, even last game, where I was the worst I've ever been, I managed a second post (with a vote) 12 hours before deadline. And if I'd been anyone else I would have been arguing for my lynch in that situation as well.

Commodore - that enough 'hedging' around a vote for you? tongue
Almost. It is pretty a mazing hedgery.

Ryan is absolutely looking terrible here. But his lynch also gives almost zero information so it is basically just a shot in the dark. If he is scum his buddies have to be screaming at him right now.

Mattimeo Brick is posting like an excited ferret on meth right now. Which might mean he is happy about his scum role but I completely believe he is missing huge chunks of text in his glee.

Catwalk you followed in your first vote too if I recall correctly.

I'm not keen on voting Goreripper. I haven't made my mind up about the people voting for him, but I wanted them to state their reasons clearly.
I have to run.

Just remember the last fifteen minutes of Mass Effect Three. It helps me turn off the game in disgust and depression very easy.

Hence why I find the move to him, rather than sticking with the 'lynch the no-shows' baffling, and likely indicative of that reasoning being a front for whatever actual reason you were voting for me.

Conclusion: vote for you not based on 'X hasn't show up. vote. X has shown up. unvote' but rather that it was applied inconsistently, with an obviously fabricated case coming up to trump it when the base formula would have you voting for Hashoosh.

This actually makes some sense though, and is much better explained than last time. smile

So you don't think Ryan's flip will tell us anything about your wagon?

Yeah, I did get pretty excited this morning. It's been a while since I played, and I was going to try and stay more mellow yellow about things, but I saw something that I thought was unknown and a revelation on my catchup readthrough and kinda just blazed towards that while missing key points of info. I tend to do that I've noticed, I'll see a tasty looking tree and latch on to it determined to pull it down, without noticing or evaluating the rest of the forest around me because LOOK I FOUND A DAMN TREE AND ITS MY TREE AND I'M GOING TO PULL IT DOWN.

Weird introspective aside, yeah it was dumb and I'm sorry I do it so often. I feel like playing my first time and mostly later as scum has got me in a bad habit of feeling like I have to build up or create a case, even when I'm a villager, instead of reacting to what people say and do and catching them in inconsistencies. I need to fix that or it won't help anyone but the bad guys.

To be honest I didn't really pay much attention to them. Pretty much the only time I've used forums in the past was looking for information on games, or when I used to sell stuff in AC, I've never really been much of a poster. I guess I either just assumed it was some sort of nudge/poke type action. TBH there is quite a lot to absorb here so I might miss a bit just due to information overload with little context to frame in it. One of the big issues I see myself having currently, based on a number of posts you guys are making, is that I haven't seen anyone here in past games, so I can't compare behavior now to behavior in the past. I suppose I could read prior threads, but I'm not sure I would get the same picture that way, because I would lack a vested interest in the outcome, and wouldn't do the level of analysis you guys did because you did have that vested interest.

Catwalk stole the cookie from the cookie jar.

Busted Gore, clearly you took the cookie. But like I said, no one should be worried about a filched sugar coma inducing girlscout confection, I'm far more worried about Azarius flaunting his baked beans.

If there was a wagon it might but a couple of votes could just be wrong villagers. Or a wrong villager and a happy to follow bandit now getting caught out which I guess is my theory but that is just going by my gut and Catwalks current huffy defense.

If Ryan is a bandit though he might in fact be killing his teammates through frustration.

Jabbz I like the cut of your jib.

Because novice is a survivor. He hates mislynching villagers so much that when he is a wolf he would rather bus his whole pack.

Can we get a tally?
