[SPOILERS] Team BASTARD settles on deer.

Thanks for the info, Ceil. And for the proof that someone's reading smile

Played this morning. I'm now convinced the barb warrior went elsewhere, so Archery turned out to be pretty much unnecessary, at least that early. Workers are done cottaging for the moment, splitting up one to chop into a settler, the other two are headed to the Furs to start camping them as soon as we get the tech. After which I'm not sure - probably send one or two to start building a road to the third city site and the others continue to chop. Although I suppose putting up a couple cottages at the cap would be useful - Lakes are good to work for now, but towns would be better; best to start building towns.

Azza revolted to Slavery; guessing he's about to settle his third city.

Still no Buddhism spread.

Thats most of the reason i answered your already resolved question. thumbsup

i loved your early buddha play, and the pretty rigorous proof of your certainty to land it, and the gut-wrenching governor changing plans, and the joy of victory later. keep up the good work!

you've only had trade routes for 5 turns, right? iirc, religion spreads max out at about 10% chance per turn, so you have a 50/50 cumulative chance of spread after 7 turns. Dont worry it'll happen. Save your long shot spread luck for foreign stuff. that's where the money's at!

Brick, just a heads-up, I'm expecting houseguests this weekend. I don't expect that to mean much for keeping up with the game, but you might want to keep an eye on the tracker just in case I miss a turn.

Played last night, nothing to report except I seem to have gotten the workers out of sync with my plan - I think I counted tiles wrong for movement. AH should arrive at EOT, but we won't have workers on the furs for a couple more turns. OTOH, neither city is growing at the moment, so I don't think it'll hurt much. And the workers have been doing useful stuff, we've got several cottages growing in lieu of lakes and a chop incoming to the settler.

Several neat things! We have horses, in a fairly convenient spot. Need to demolish our furthest-along cottage, but it's still a cottage. Will give Troubleshooter some badly needed hammers, and it's our first strategic already.

Troubleshooter also finally got its Buddhism spread, making it happy and dictating that its next build ought to be a workboat for the clams. Well...perhaps after it builds an archer for our extended plant.

Got a very nice event this turn smile

That mine's now a 5-hammer tile! Going to be working it pretty much continually, I think.

Also we have a settler and worker out, archer building while FC regrows, then it'll go onto another settler; Troubleshooter's producing a workboat for the clams.

Settler's still heading toward the Azza-ward hill, although it's a bit tricky because he's got a warrior poking around in that area. Archer will follow so as to arrive before he can react to the city, and then our next settler's got to 100% be copper. Haven't thought out any further than that; maybe it'll be time to start pushing E/SE, maybe time for backfill.

Sounds good. IDK since I'm not in the game and the Religion play slowed us down, but it does feel like we really really need more cities stat.

Boldy has four cry. Azza has three.

I'm banking on the theory that this is the result of the granaries investment; if I'm right, we're the only one in the neighborhood with doubled growth. Which in turn ought to let us catch up.

We, um, wanted to kill Azza anyway, right?

Probably this isn't the best time to kick it off, though frown. Going for the copper instead, I think, and then we ought to push for REX before killing.

ought.

But killing is definitely on the menu!
