I've been getting too aggressive with the whip; I keep forgetting that I need math AND masonry to build Hammams. If I whip any more, I'll stunt my empire's growth more than I help it... I need to get myself under control!

Chops alone will have to sustain me for now. My plan is to get 4 settlers, 2 Hammams, 2 spears (one is almost done), an archer, and an axe in 15 turns out of my 3 core cities. That's roughly 600 hammers... I have 4 workers (out of 5) that I plan to have doing nothing but chops, and 13 forests I can chop. That's 390 hammers right there. I'll gain about 100 raw hammers from Cedar Point. (enough for all the military alone). But where do I get the other 110 hammers? I can maybe slave once near the end of this period... that's another 30... Carnival will get at least60 raw hammers (4*15) plus a few more if it works a mine occaisonally, rather than a cottage... it'll be close but doable I think.

Settled city 4 this turn, only to find this situation:

I haven't hit end turn yet... on one hand, IIRC, animals inside borders won't attack. OTOH, that barb warrior will, and, even though I can't get him home in time to cover the sheep, I can get him home in time to cover the city. however, I have a spear due in 2 turns... will the spear come out first, or will the barb attack the city? I'm not sure exactly how pitboss works in this regard... Or maybe I should just whip the spear to completion so that I can save the sheep tile too, as I'd rather have my workers chopping. Hmm. This is why I need you here, scooter!

Oh, forgot to rename the city. Decided to go with "Popsicle Stand" due to the tundra and plethora of food. And wow, that woulda been an amazing Moai spot if it ever got off the ground...
