The posts after the original pair-comment were answers. After all Azarius said he didn't understand the paircomment. No it was not me pushing it it was me answering questions. Besides anything that is talk about you and Azarius can't really be OT .

Having difficulties to find a place to vote and keeping it on your first mnute place is either scummy or extremely lazy village play. What Azarius did yesterday was not very villagerish. The same tactic (picking one comment and trying to get a stir) was used by wolves in the past.

You being the new guy makes it mandatory to pressure you. How else can we get to know you? Most of the newcomers faced some pressure during D1 some of them have been even lynched.

Your bolded statement in your first post, my bold in the second. I didn't have any "difficulties" finding a spot where to put a vote. By the time I could post I had an actual teeny tiny suspicion to vote on as opposed to forcing a joke vote, so it was the easiest first vote I can recall.

Goreripper gets my vote for his siderodromophobia, and for slipping in the word "colluding", which reveals a desire to discredit both me and Novice.

Honestly from a pure theoretical PoV lynching one of you/novice increases town chances greatly. But I like the lynch zak/novice on Day2 approach better

Worst thing I've seen so far is Azarius' grabbing on this. Regardless on whether you subscribe to it, Rowain's opinions on how to approach novice/zak are pretty well known. And even if he had missed this - I forget how frequently Azarius has played, and that stopped being big a wee while ago - it was pretty obviously a joke, and his grabbing onto it in this way feels weird, especially as it was one of the first non-joking posts.

Zak, I had the same reaction to the Sunrise anecdote. I doubt it's important, however.

All: I am going to be pretty inactive this game in general. While I should be around enough to play, I wasn't exactly expecting it to start so fast, and particularly this weekend won't have much time to post.

There is the part where I wasn't voting you all day long. Q actually addressed my concerns, like a rational townie trying to win this game (or at least a scum pretending to be one) and thus my vote went elsewhere. As opposed to, you know, displaying implacable determination not to engage in an actual dialogue by ignoring points that don't suit him, using provable falsehoods in an argument (either intentionally through malice or unintentionally through Goreripper's favorite vice), and refusing to answer questions.

Since this is partly about me, I figure it's time I jump in a bit. Firstly, I can sympathize with Az not having somewhere else to put his vote yesterday, after all I only voted Ryan because I was told not voting had consequences. Knowing that voting for you didn't mean anything at that point might be why he never changed it.

As to the rest, even aside from the fact that it is me he is defending, I think that jumping on the new guy, just because he is new, is a fairly weak reason to make an accusation, so him calling that out isn't really a huge surprise. Add in the fact that he feels guilty for dropping me in this convoluted mess, and I think it's justifiable.

Then moving on to the constant pressure afterwords, it starts to look a bit odd. There were other people to press, for reasons that looked a lot more legitimate than what Az did, but, while Rowaine didn't spend all of his time talking about either Az or I, 7 out of 20 posts were about this supposed pairing up, and about 4 of those 20 were OT posts. You seem to be pushing very hard here.

That tells me either A: you think both of us are crooked, and you want us off, which would be ok as that would make you a townie, or B: you are mafia, and know we aren't, and you worry we will work together to kill you and your compatriots, which obviously, is less ok. I find it hard to believe however that you think we are mafia, as the ONLY thing you have really been pushing here is the whole "team" issue. Do you have anything that actually points towards one or both of us being mafia, or are you just stirring up trouble?

That's just the thing though. Rowain's "attack" on you was a first post of the game nudge to try to get a new player talking. Even if it was beyond the early joke and random vote stage, short of doing something colossally dumb, a new player is not going to get lynched on day one. Rowain is not stupid, so I have a very hard time buying that he honestly believed I was worried enough from that post to feel a need to defend you because of it.

So we have one of these 4 setups:

TTT = 2 Goons + Roleblocker, Serial Killer (Investigation Immune OR 1-Shot Bulletproof)
T = Goon + Roleblocker + Godfather, Serial Killer (Investigation Immune OR 1-Shot Bulletproof)

TT = Goon + Roleblocker + Godfather
0 Ts = Goon + Roleblocker + Godfather

The last 2 only if we had at least 3 'V' (= 2 vigs) and both managed to kill a villager. If it is one of the first 2 then we are at 5 villager 4 scums today.

Which means if I stick to the 2 names still left I should hit scum at least 50% of the time. Azarius

I actually fell asleep trying to work this out, initially, but I agree with your conclusion. We've seen evidence for at least 2 Ds and 1 V, and we can't have 4 Ts, because that leaves too few killers.

So yeah, I think this calls for some bandwagoning.

I do not think Q's GG all is suspicious, he was probably just saving time by wishing GG to all the dead folks at once as opposed to individually.

If those possible setups are correct, I think it's likely to be one of the 4 scum setups, as while I can see a sunrise vig shot, I'd really hope someone playing for the village wouldn't have vigged Brick or novice.

Do they? I was under the impression they were fairly safe on day one. I went back and checked past games to see.

So in ten games two new players, and both were very inactive. So ya, I'll say that if a new player doesn't do something dumb, and they are actually trying, they are probably safe on day one. Definitely a far cry from all the time.

As for Rowain, other than stuff I wrote just before your questions, posts 57, 175, and 189 should help you.

1 shot doctor. This guarantees there is a full doctor out there. Or two. DD or DDDD.
3 kills. Scum, and either SK + vig, or two vig. Can't see a 1-shot taking it first night, which implies at least VV. Assuming SK rather than two vig is occam's.
Rowain correct about T or TTT (or no T / TT if we have two vigs who decided to shoot N1 for some strange reason).

So, minimum *known*:
DDVTxxx (suspected minimal DDVVTxx). Which could easily be a flat DDVVTTT.
or
DDVVVxx, which could easily be DDVVVTT.

But anyways. We have a doctor and a Vig (possibly depleted 1-shot) who is *way* too trigger happy still alive.
