I'm thinking these two need to be the fourth and fifth cities. Either that or we need to get out a pair of chariots and try to raze Azza's little pinkie - but we're already behind and that probably just means FinHarry end up with the whole continent.
But it would be useful to establish our border. And those are pretty good cities in their own right.
City 3 will be founded next turn, and we're already working on the settler for city 4. Sailing's almost in, so Buddhism will be able to spread overseas immediately thereafter. Already could infect Azza, f'r instance

That was optimism
See, when your city garrison is on one end of the empire, and you divert your settler somewhere else, barbs can mess with your plans. Fortunately it was a warrior not a panther, so we're just looking at delay until the garrison arrives, not a lost settler.

Ok, *now* we're set to settle our third city next turn. Unless a warrior can beat an archer on defensive terrain, the barbs can't stop us now.
Way behind, I think, but at least we're going now.
I wasn't actually sure what to research next. When in doubt, head toward Currency, right? So we're on Priesthood, which is sorta-thataway; we're going to need it to get a temple for a shrine, and it pays back something like a third of its beakers when researching Writing which I figure is next.

Hurrah copper city!
My only advice really would be pushing more cities, gotta catch up in the land grab.
the rest of the parts for my new Windows machine are in my amazon cart and that should be built hopefully before too long.

Yeah. Well, you may note that Friend Computer will produce a settler at EOT, and Troubleshooter's about to grow to the happy cap and then place a settler or worker in queue to 2-pop whip ASAP. I'm leaning toward settler - our core cities now only have chopping as a useful activity, and I think four workers ought to be able to manage to get improvements up for three new cities. And I think we need our border with Azza marked right away. And start rolling the dice on Buddhism spreads.
I do need a hand with one thing: more names! Our newest city is Infrared; I can run up the classification scale but I'm confident that won't be enough. What are some other good names less than 15 characters?

Purge! Communist! Come on, factions alone ought to cover half the world.

If I thought there was any way Azza would leave his cities empty, we'd be looking to raze it this turn! But there's no units nearby because I'm covering against barbs instead.
So...do we try again in a couple turns? Or do we celebrate that it's Buddhist and hope he spreads it to all his cities before we start our attack?
Note: we're about to settle city 4. Azza has 5 already, and FinHarry have 6. I think that means no war .

Couple handy things this turn:
Pretty soon we're going to have to start on a Great Profit, we're up to 4 known cities with Buddhism already. Not sure where we can fit one in, though; gotta push REX and 'while growing' seems pretty well taken care of by units and lighthouses right now.

If we could psare it, and if the game starts going again, I'd be all for throwing a chariot up there.
