[SPOILERS] Gandhi: the Road to Poverty

Furungy Front
I took over Nederweert without much effort. Lost 4 cannons and 3 infantry, destroyed 10 infantry and 1 knight. The results:
- I have a useful sea route to keep Furungy at bay;
- Refugee Camp became a good city;
- Mild improvements for Bed-Stuy and New Poverty.

I decided against razing Nederweert. First, I forgot to build a settler. Second, there are no real food tiles around the area, so the size of the city is important.

Overall situation:
I have about 20 Infantry stationed near the Dutch, some of which is damaged. I also have about 12 gunners for protecting stacks.

Here are Furungy's forces:

He has a total of 28 infantry, but it's scattered around thinly. 4 of it is in Middleburg, 4 in the distant Dorestad, and 5 in Rotterdam.

The plan is to send a stack of doom with 6 cannons to either Nijmegen or Asten. I have enough Galleons in the Dutch Lagoon to carry such a stack, but the Infantry who stormed Nederweert need some time to recover. Nijmegen is tempting, since Furungy may move his large stack there for defence, so I'll get some fodder for my great general.

Elsewhere
Zanth is not holding well against Gavagai, but he'll have Railroad in two turns. I don't plan to attack Zanth, since I can do it any time I want later on, and because he'll just get consumed by Gavagai if I distract his army. In fact, I am slightly tempted to declare on Gavagai and send gunners to help Zanth protect the border.

I will get my first dirigibles in two turns, so I'll finally be able to keep updated about the situation in the east. Gavagai is already spying on me with his.

I am still doing well on demos. Amusingly, the world GNP is getting lower and lower:

Furungy offered peace, and I accepted without conquering any more of his cities. Nijmegen remained free for the taking with only a rifleman and two bowmen against 10 or so infantry, but it ultimately seemed like a waste of resource that should be used against Gavagai.

Meanwhile, Gavagai is thoroughly pounding Zanth. Now I could have just conquered Zanth's big core cities, but it would be more amusing to help Zanth against Gavagai. I am sending my SoD with over 20 infantry and 7 cannons to the eastern front to help my neighbour against Gavagai's imperialism.
