Sorry about that Wetbandit, the cat stuff is apparently only the tip of the RL iceburg. Likely HDD failure on another computer, necessary for my mom to work on (Yes I still live with my mom, I can't find a job...), means I might be losing access to the only computer I have that can play Civ IV for god knows how long since we're too poor to buy another comp. I presume you do not want to take over so it might be a good idea to set up somebody as an emergency now. I am sorry to do this when I am notorious for being late and stuff but frankly HDD failure isn't something I can control.

The server had frozen again. I've reloaded the game from a login autosave (HAK I think), so someone needs to replay their turn. I'm looking in to the possible causes for the freezes together with a friend who is an MSCE.

I can take over turns for the near future. I think I would like a partner/backup, eventually, and will advertise that in general. I'll definitely have some time in the summer when I won't be able to play because of work and travel.

Alright. A friend is actually going to give me about 300 dollars to pay for this and some other stuff, so I might not lose CPU access after all, but it's still a worst case scenario and I definitely can't play today, if for no other reason than needing to go out and do a lot with this. Sorry again about this, though, Wetbandit. Thanks for putting up with me.

I will be entertaining family and guests this weekend who are coming to celebrate the number of revolutions I've made around the sun. As such, I may be unable to play a turn after Saturday morning until late Sunday night (UTC-7 / PDT), depending on when it rolls. I don't know when/if Kuro will play this weekend.
I'd appreciate a pause if the timer gets down to one hour on Saturday or Sunday. Thanks and sorry for any delay.

I'll be doing the microsoft puzzle hunt Saturday-Sunday. I will probably take a break to sleep and could play my turn then, but I'd prefer a pause, too.
