[Spoilers] Newly created Vampire!!!

ok, time for some updates:
Turn 10:
Found Bob. his explorer has recently fought (his strenght is down to 0.6), i think a tiger i spotted a few turns ago. I could have killed him, but i dont want to start my diplo with the wrong foot.
Finished Agriculture, and changed my mind on the next tech. Now iam heading straight to hunting.
Finished my first worker, and now ill make 1 more warrior before heading to the settler. i think i will have my city with population 2, so i will be using the pigs and the deer to get the settler, this could have gone a lot faster if i could work the pigs, but that is the price i have to pay for not loosing a turn with my settle to get to the corn (i think i will build a farm over the pig, to get an extra food).

Note about the map:
It is full of food supplies, so i think education / conquest is a must... too bad i was planning on avoiding that branch at the beginning.

turn 13:
iam finishing warrior, and will start with my first settler, already got a place for him.

As you can see on the attachment there is 1 city with 4 pop, and other with 2, the next turn it will be my city with 2 pop, and in the next couple of turns everyone else cities will get 2 population, so my civ spell is near!!!

I think they will start building their settlers as soon as they get 2 population (in a couple of rounds ill should see those cities get to population 2), so if i use my spell right in time, they will get their population to 1, while they build their settler slower than planned, while i get a couple of population to build my settler faster.

So when i use my spell i should get a head start, which i wont be able to keep for long (due to my experimental strategy), but i hope its enough till i get my long term plan in motion.

other option is wait till i get my second city, so it can get to population 3 from the start... the diference between now and then is that my settler will be out in 20 turn if i dont use my spell, or 15 turns if i get my spell, and the damage of my spell 20 turns later will be less.

Just an FYI, cities at size 2 are not affected by River of Blood. They have to be 3 or bigger to shrink

oh ok, tnx, ill have to rethink if waiting till they get to 3 pop, or just use it now, and try to get my settler really fast :S

perhaps wait till that 2 pop city, gets to 3...

ok time for some update:

this is the top 5 cities:

so as u can see 1 city with 4 poop, and 2 with 3, that means that more than half of my enemies will be affected by river of blood. also i finished my farm, so i think its time for river of blood.
I hope i can get more than 1 enemies building his settler, or at least waiting a couple of turns till they get their pop up to start building it.

so here its the demographics before river of blood:

now after the river of blood:

any suggestions if it was a good time, or i should have waited or cast it before?

Turn 18:
i got the "nice" news that my bloodpet was eaten by a giant spider.... my luck... This slows my plan at least 2 turns.
screen of the place where a think the spider is, and where i plan to set my second city... so i will have a hard time getting to the place.

Ok news from turn 26

BAD LUCK, i cant belive iam having this luck.

a couple of turns ago, i lost a warrior to an spider near my city, and a scout to a griffon at the jungle far away

Now i sent another scout to search for the spider (because i wanted to build my second city near her, when he got attacked by Another Griffon!!!!!
When i thought... ok at least i will train my warrior...check the screen and look at the health the griffon.... i cant belive it...

ok some update on turn 34.

as my lucks keeps going south... my warrior (the one that was about to scout, and defend the new settler), eat something wrong, and cant move, my settler came out, and i have no other thing to do except for scout with my worker... really risky.

in the next 2 turns i should have 2 cities or 1 citie and a dead settler and worker.... its all or nothing.

No animals or beasts will attack inside cultural borders, AFAIK. Sorry about your bad luck. frown
