[SPOILERS] Hoarse Lord DaveV speaks softly...

Turn 12. Since I've dodged the bullet on forest growth so far, it's time to farm that grassland tile. By the time I'm finished farming, I'll have grown to size 3, so there's no difference between +2 food on the grassland or +2 food on the floodplains. The grassland finishes one turn sooner, but the forest growth prevention is the most important thing.

Boy that is one heck of a difference...

Turn 15. Now that I've finally finished Calendar, time to put it to work:

Which leads to me knocking crop yield out of the park, even with the governor working the deer instead of the floodplain:

I'll be interested in seeing when Kredom chooses to fire off River of Blood; when the other guys grow to size 3, I assume. Someone (Yell0w, it appears) is holding at size one, presumably in fear of RoB. Both of these moves are questionable as far as I'm concerned; I can grow two population in a few turns with my farms now.

Turn 16.

No effect on Yell0w and Ellimist. GreyWolf down to size 2, Bob and me to size 1.

Worst possible timing for me. I'm sure one of the micro wizards wouldn't have been in this position in the first place, but here's my capital after ending turn banghead:

Next turn: growth with 6 food overflow. Turn 18: 9 food + 6 = 15/16 bangheadbanghead.

Turn 20. Two turns to grow to size 2, two turns to size 3, one turn to size four. Yay.

I'm down a tech to GreyWolf and Bob, since top 5 cities shows no one is bigger than size 4. Demos are pretty much average.

Kredom seems not to have gained much with his worldspell. We'll see how fast he cranks out his first settler.

Yeah, it hurt you a bit but I don't think Rain of Blood was all that smartly timed.

Turn 21. Fine tuning on the capital: sacrificing food and commerce to synch warrior production and growth.

Turn 25. The save has been arriving at awkward times and I've fallen behind in my reporting. You haven't missed much. Borders popped this turn:

I'm above average in demos:

Turn 26. The scout poked his nose out to the east to gain some vision over the water. Another (dry) rice tile; no sign of seafood yet.

This is going to be such a builder map, yikes.
