Do I need to put the save in some specific folder to be able to open it? I recieved Yellow's save but atm I am unable to open it. When I try to open the save I get this message: "Mod Error, Mods/Erbus in the Balance v10.1\ is an invalid mod directory, ignoring". I have installed v10.1 but apparently I did something wrong. Sorry for the mess.

Also just to confirm, I hit enter first then do save -> and send the file to next player?

check the name of the folder where the mod is installed (should be Erbus in the Balance v10.1 in mods folder where the game is installed)

The folder name for me is just Erbus in the Balance. Should I just rename it?

Edit: That didn't work at least... I guess I should do something different...

Looks like you're missing an "e" in Erebus.

Oh, I just mistyped it when I wrote the message. The folder name seems to be Erebus in the Balance like it should be.

When I load Erebus in the Balance mod and try to open the save it tells me the following:

"The save file you have selected requires the following mod to be loaded: Mods\Erebus in the Balance v10.1\ The application must restart, ok?"

When I click ok, it just crashes. Could it be possible that I don't really have v10.1 installed, or that that I have a bad installation somehow?

You ought to be able to open the save from anywhere.

That sounds like what happens if you put the mod in the My Games\Beyond the Sword folder rather than the \Program Files\Beyond the Sword folder. Not sure, you haven't given enough info for me to be sure. Can you open the mod on its own?

Not quite. You hit enter, the game automatically generates the save when you hit enter. Then you just quit civ and send the auto-generated file onward.

I can open the mod on it's own. It seems to be v10.1 because in Civilopedia it tells that Summoner gives +4 beakers per city.

To open the mod I do the following: I first open Fall from heaven II -> then load the mod Erebus in the Balance from there. It seems that I happen to have Erebus in the balance folder in My Games folder as well, not that there's much in it though... but I also have the mod in different folder though where all the files assets, etc. are.

I really have no idea what to do from here now.

EDIT: I probably won't have time to fix this today. So I won't be able to play my turn today. I'll try to fix it tomorrow.

Is the modname "Erebus in the Balance" or "Erebus in the Balance v10.1"? It needs to be the latter, as in deliberately renamed, not the former.

Modname is "Erebus in the Balance" like I said. I guess I should rename it to "Erebus in the Balance v10.1" then. The name didn't change after I updated to v10.1 because I simply replaced the assets files in my previous folder with the v10.1 assets files.

I'll try to rename it. It doesn't matter where the save is, right?

EDIT: Now I renamed the folder. But I get error: Load error: "GFC Error: failed to initialize the primary control theme"

I have never heard of that error before. Looking up now.

And no, the modname doesn't change automatically, it needs to be individually done, which I think I mentioned but not certain so sorry if not.
