Yeah, there's not much difference between them. Not much difference between those and the grow-to-2 first option either; the latter gets the second worker out in time to chop, while the former has a bit more food in the bin at size 3.
Anyways, we have a clam:
I also noticed this little anomaly:
Correct me if I'm wrong, but since Agr is not in this game, I think this means that someone has a fish + a 3 food plant?

Yeah, it's too early for a Worker to have been built and improved a resource... must be a an ocean Fish (5f) and a 3-food start... unless it's a lake Fish (6f) and a regular start.
EDIT: Or someone could have grown to size 2 quickly. Nope, scores haven't increased appropriately.

Oh yeah, could be a lake fish too! I didn't even think of that!

Not sure if Commodore typically places resources in unnatural locations... if he used the tilted axis script then that wouldn't naturally generate any seafood in freshwater lakes.

That possibility didn't even occur to me because our fish wasn't freshwater, but we could have an extra semi food resource (floodplain or the cow or something) to make up for it. Who knows. Just noticed someone has an extra food.

We have two horse! Unfortunately, neither look particularly endearing to settle for a second city. Maybe 1N of the closer one, if copper is somewhere screwy.
Send our scout back (7T to get to unexplored territory south of the capital), or keep going in the east? Revealed nothing interesting this turn.

Think we'd struggle to settle the more distant one with a second city. But hopefully Copper is in a reasonable location. And hey, it's still possible we have more Horses to the south.

I'd be inclined to head back around to the south, but that's a long time to go without exploring new tiles. Maybe keep going east, and send a Warrior to explore the south? Then again, we really want to have full knowledge of the possible first ring sites by shortly after T30 so we can ensure we settle the optimal one. So perhaps head back after all, despite the lost turns?

At least the wolf shouldn't be lethal, unless we're ridiculously unlucky...
