So we're resuming at last; Dtay didn't do all that much on his turn, but his upgrading a skirm/building another longbow made taking Pit a bit dicey.

Still, worth trying, eh? The one full-health knight died only scratching the top longbow. Fortunately, my sentry knight is a hoss, and instead of withdrawing, decided to just stone cold win at ~17% odds.

I had better than even odds of surviving with this horse archer attack; happily, I actually won it all. Not a bad gold haul!

Sadly, my infra haul...isn't. I'm not a fan of growing without nice big-food tiles, but sugar/fp farm/fp town will work well before a lighthouse comes online for the lakes.

So this is kind of interesting; apparently when you capture a city it gets its first-ring visibility for a moment? Anyway, here is Diddy Kong; I wants it!

I sent out a mighty wave of whips, then swapped to Caste/Mercantilism. I'm not the only one here, though...TBS is launching his second golden age right now. TBS is going well now, but needs a gain a bit more I suspect; so he's going to use this golden age to keep himself far above the rest of us in tech; if he can sweep enough of the first-to bonuses he'll be well off; if he can get cavalry long before his neighbors near counters, he'll be able to romp a victim like I'm doing now.

Nothing to worry about now. I'm rumbling forward still, seven cities now, two more soon. After Marth and Kong...I'll have to see.
