Season 4 World Championships

I feel like the Brazil scene might be growing enough to the point they can actually contest games with more teams. Additionally it looks like both TSM and C9 were just short of getting first seed in their groups and they have to face off against SSW and SSB respectively. Chances are they both get stomped. They face each other. And whoever wins that I personally think will win the Finals.

Yea, I think one of the Samsung teams will almost definitely win it.

We got 3 KR teams, 3 CN teams and 2 NA teams in the quarter finals. None of the EU teams made it into the quarter finals for the first time: SK for their sub problems, Fnatic in the group of death and ALL only had themselves to blame by losing to Kabum.

I'm not sure I like the schedule of the tournament this year tbh. I felt it got a little repetitive seeing only half of the team play for first week.

The only thing I was annoyed at was the fact that for me the games were livestreamed in the early morning. Although it didn't feel any different from a super week for LCS where just a bunch of games are played over a few days.

Well that's that. 6 teams left and I don't care for any of them.

They blind picked Kassadin in game 3. Also they picked Singed in game 2. I wouldn't say it's a troll pick but it's definitely cockiness.

I think they knew they would win the series and were trying out other picks to get more practice and to possibly hide something else they might pick in later rounds.

Anyway I think NA 2-6 KR is a big step forwards for NA even if you consider TSM's win a bit soft.

Any interest in everyone getting together on teamspeak to watch the final on 18 Oct at 4pm (EST)? (private message me and I will provide teamspeak information)

For those in the DC area, I would be willing to host an in person party... any interest?

Cheers,
Atlas

I'm pretty sure it's at 4 AM, or are we going to be watching the rerun?

Wow, ok I could have sworn that I saw it was at a reasonable EST time and I remember trying to be careful about the time b/c I have been watching the rebroadcasts of games up to this point. Oh well. Apparently it is 2:45am EST with a 1pm EST rebroadcast.

On a separate point, but does anyone think there is a chance that Samsung White could lose?

Seems like they are playing on a whole different level from everyone else.
