[TECH] Unified announcement thread for Pitbosses/NatNeg Server hosted by Caledorn

There are no empty spaces, though if anyone comes up with another possible explanation of this type, I will readily check.

Have you restarted your machine and checked for the correct mods (sorry, that's all I can think of).

The fact that some ports work and others don't implies something blocking those ports. The hard part is figuring out what, exactly, is doing so. I would check your router settings and see if it's configured to block a port range, or if you have NAT enabled it might not be configured to redirect those ports above 2057.

I rebooted my machine, checked for mods and even cheched router config. Nothing.

I agree. To eliminate your router as a possible cause you could try temporarily placing your computer in a virtual dmz: http://screenshots.portforward.com/route...al_DMZ.htm
I have to run.

A wild guess: It could be the other way around, with UPnP opening the port that Civ expects to use but not the higher ports. I think Civ supports UPnP and uses that to tell the router to open a port.

OK, I think we know where my problem lies. I have completely missed the story with the new address. Of course, no one cared to update opening posts of respective tech threads from which I usually copy-paste it. Sorry all!
