The natneg-server isn't a solution that always works, just as the Gamespy servers never were. Bouncing will occur from time to time, and some people (like myself) will bounce off a lot of people due to unknown factors. It helps if you forward the relevant ports in your router to the computer you play from, but even that isn't a solution that always works. Just so that's said.

Is someone covering for Bacchus this turn? Unless I'm mistaken whoever is enjoying his laptop isn't playing his turn for him.
If it's possible going forward I'd appreciate having half the timer to work with. My schedule doesn't always allow me to jump right in when my part rolls around so having a full time share seems fair. I was away from my computer most of the afternoon when my part came around and I don't want to hold things up now, but I also don't want to play this out in a rush when I'm tired just to squeeze in under the deadline. Sorry (again), but I'm going to pause until tomorrow morning. Hope this doesn't cause problems for anyone. I tried connecting but kept bouncing despite having the correct netnag settings. I will play in the morning but if time is running out, I'll need a pause. Thanks!
I paused the game, there's about 6:30 left on the clock. Seems likely the timer would have expired on dazed without a pause.

I keep trying to play but each time I connect, about 30 seconds later I get the "Oops! We lost connection... returning to main menu." I'm trying again, but I won't be able to keep trying if it doesn't work soon.
Are you getting to the civ selection screen or further? Are you on your usual connection?
