The religion plan sounds good. I'm still considering if doing Wheel before Mysticism is worth it.

Well at worst it costs us 2turns - one to move into the dead end, and one to move back to where we are...

Oh, I see what you mean. I thought it looked like a hill 2N of the scout.

I'm pretty sure it's a Mountain. I do agree that it's very round and hill-like, however it just looks like it's too steep to be just a hill, and the tile bleed into the grass forest seems grey to me rather than green/brown. I also think NE-N is a nountain, but think there's a decent chance that NE-NE is not, and there is a way through.

However, even if that were the case, we would still need to loop back around to the North of the Mountains to defog the area around the Cows. If that is our primary goal, I'd say we take the low-risk, slow option of W, NW on the next 2 turns.

Also regarding Huts, just because the option hasn't been deselected for this game, there still might not be any out there because this is a WB save and they could have been manually removed from the map (or not generated to start with). I guess we could ask for clarification in the Tech thread...?

Low-risk it is then. And I see no harm in asking.

Wait a minute ... are we men or are we mooses? Low-risk!! Bah! Jump over the peak onto the jungle and trust that we can get out. Sure ... we need to defog the cows ... escape from the peaks and then head NW.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

I choose Manly Muppet.

Also, we can always blame the mapmaker if it turns out to be a dead end ... it's tradition after all!
