What turn did RB become aware that Mackoti was controlling CFC? If it was passed turn 160 then they get left off the hook from losing as there was a huge threat that they couldn't react to. And what turn did Mackoti take over? If it was around 10 turns before the Taj I don't think CFC gets it and RB would have no way of knowing that to change their plan. Getting Liberalism would be the best plan if you get the Taj anyway.
People were not openly hostile to RB until the German cities were taken. They should have know that would happen especially after the Germans allowed them to walk in.
Oh, did you sign up right after the team rosters were posted so you would avoid showing up on that list, Mackoti?

I joined using my name from there : bistrita,at the begging of the game, but right after game started i stayed 3-4 months away from civ, didnt played anywere, and when i returned was like turn 100-110 maybe(dont remeber exaclty),the situatin at CFC was grim to say polite how was .Atcked by the agresive zulu's instead of economics stuf go construction, was a realy hard time which for example RB,CP,or apolytond dint had.Actuay CFC was the only civ which sufered an ancient war and survived and more then that was a major force. For example if Zulu didnt atacked we would had a shot at some wonders, for sure we would halnded GLH,but that was the situation.
About getting liberalism i strongly disagree, saving 2 great people so you have another Ga and not researching techs you dont need for a long time is more valuable.

I like how polite and civilized the discussion is going on in here. Maybe the time passing and/or the main figures being missing helps about it.
Anyway. For learning lessons, I said this in other thread too, but is worth repeating it here too. My good friend and a great civver Mackoti at no point was " controlling CFC". He was our prime turnplayer and my most valuable lieutenant for good amount of turns, but at CFC we had so-so democracy, with elections ran on each month or two for team leader, war-time general, main diplomat, etc and voting on most of the important decisions (do we sign NAP with someone, do we declare war to someone, etc, even smaller things like "do we send and what we send as diplomatic response". We had our internal political struggles, our "puch" and so on, but as a whole, we were democracy up to quite late in the game. So, saying "It is normal that we lost - it was Mackoti who we were playing against" is oversimplifying and self-deluding-comforting at best. Mack did great job (just as I would had expected no less from him), but he was not in charge, not even present in the team or playing most of the turns. Not to mention ,imho, RB would had lost the war against CP and Poly even without our involvement.
As for reading CFC thread, just apply for membership of the group, I will approve you right away.

Another question for thoughts: "Why our best player preferred to play for another team?"

YOu have to have a CFC account.
Once logged in, you go to "My Account", then to "Group Memberships", then you find "Civ4 MTDG3 - Team Civfanatics" and click the radio-button on right saying "Join group" and then you click the big "Join group" button on bottom of the whole page and that's it. I will see you had requested access and will grant it, then you can read the threads at

IIRC mackoti has said in the past that he was turned off by RB requiring admin permission to view the team's forum.
