So goreripper and sunrise were both drugged?

GG all. Down with town!

Looking through sunrise's posts (all five of them...), I don't see anything that could have indicated to anyone that he was a priority nightkill target. I'd have thought a SK or whatever would have at least targeted one of the consistently active veteran members. Could be that he was the victim of a Paranoid Gun Owner or something similar, and Qg's kill was the work of a SK / other 3rd party (Qg at least had better village cred). Paranoid Gun Owners are kind of a bastard role, but I wouldn't put something like that past MJW.

Sunrise did post this however:

If the top two vote recipients I prefer lynching Jowy over Rowain, but I also prefer siding with the Rowain voters on the margin. I'll ponder that, and will be on through the deadline.

Which, while far from an "all-clear", does in my opinion give Jowy some village points.

So mob and mafia are the same? Well seeing that 2 of the 3 people killed so far were traitors, this oughta be a fun setup. :P

FWIW I was informed that I had an action carried against me last night, but not informed of any consequences. IDK if it's something delayed, or just a harmless action, but in case something weird happens to me I figured it'd be good to make public.

If you are the one who did it to me, if you claim what the flavor of the action was I am willing to confirm/deny what you claim, in case it was an attempt to show credibility.

Hey, I know we aren't allowed to post our role PMs, but can we roleclaim? I assume so, right?

I am a Bobchillingworth, I am skilled in all things Bobbing and can Chill someone once a night to keep them from getting hot with any investigatory notions.

Yes.

Okay, I've been mulling over what to do since I got my role PM, and I think the only reasonable thing to do is to roleclaim now.

My role in unbelievably awful. If anyone visits me in the night, they'll die. If more than one person visits me, they all die. And in either case, I'll die as well. I essentially have all of the negative impacts of the Bomb and Paranoid Gun Owner roles, except moreso.

I thought about claiming yesterday, but I figured I should at least try to ride out one night. I think it's too risky to attempt a second, though. I'm only useful if I get targeted exclusively by scum one night, but given that I already almost got lynched on the first day, that probably isn't going to happen any time soon. I also thought about hinting somehow that I was a seer or something similarly juicy, but the risk of inadvertently convincing a doctor to protect me and get us both killed was too high.

If you guys want to policy lynch me, then whatever. It's still a mislynch, but my role makes me an absurd liability to the entire village.

If someone would care to test my claim on Night 2, well, don't say I didn't warn you neenerneener

Zak seems very eager to take everything I say to the extreme, in an effort to get me lynched.

Jabbz

Initially, let me say I didn't much pay attention to who had votes where while I was doing my first responses, not that it matters much. Keep in mind, this is all of my second game, and while I am not pleading ignorance by any stretch, I don't have a lot of practice at all the ways people act, and or interpret, the behaviors of voters. I simply looked at something that was fishy, and made an observation about it, see above.

I have read some of them, more because I'm a communication major, and enjoy tracking the flow conversation, but there is only so much you can get without being able to actively engage, rather than just passively reading. Again, I am not pleading ignorance, just don't expect quite that much from me, you will be disappointed :P

I didn’t claim noobness, nor am I trying to gain much ground from the fact that I've only had one game. I simply said I wasn’t as amazing as he was looking for me to be. I don't think it's claiming noobness to point out that I have limited interaction with you folks, none outside of WW as I only come to this forum for that, so I am not as good at reading your character and intentions as others might be.

I didn’t put words into Rowain’s mouth, I simply made an observation of my interpretation of his statements. I have given you analysis on this.

Brick has done analysis on this.

(January 17th, 2015, 12:36)BRickAstley Wrote: Honestly Zak, voting Jabbz there seems rather odd, since you're putting words in HIS mouth.

Your "asking him to reconsider" resulted in him emphasizing that that vote was just the closest thing he's seen to something suspicious, and he's open to there being a reason he doesn't know why Rowain doesn't like Bob.

That seems a lot more to me like he's agreeing that that vote is tenuous than doubling down in defense of it.

you're just going after me like a rabid dog, with absolutely no reason. Why are you so bound and determined (if you don't think that's me putting words in your mouth) to see me swing?
