There are enough votes on various people (including Gore, though I don't see it personally) that it's unlikely my vote is going to sway anything anyway. I may respond again before end of day, but no promises, I have a huge honeydo list to take care of.

Alternately I think Jabbz is suspicious. The No lynch vote is IMO not good for town, but more to the point it felt like No Lynch was used here so that Jabbz didn't have to vote for anyone. Like he was trying to fly under the radar.

Not copying Zak. I'm an independent thinker... I swear.

Basically I was focused pretty heavily on Gore the first day, because I couldn't think of any legitimate reason he was going after me. I was going to vote for him, but didn't have enough ammo to make a solid claim. Further, as I noted above, there were so many votes out there, that when I made my call not to vote for anyone, I couldn't swing the vote in any way. Quite frankly, aside from being irked with gore, I couldn't see anyone that looked bad, just some annoying people. While we would love to be allowed to kill annoying people, it's generally a bad plan.

If you want to go under the assumption I was trying to "fly under the radar" that's your call. I simply made the best decision I could with the information I had. I have been engaging with two or three different people through the entire first day, so if I'm trying to fly under the radar, I'm doing a terrible job. I don't know if I should be more insulted that you think I'm mafia, or that you think I'm terrible at it.

I took it as a flavour post hint that there is a drug dealer in this game, and that he was the one who drugged commodore

I'd have thought a SK or whatever would have at least targeted one of the consistently active veteran members. Could be that he was the victim of a Paranoid Gun Owner or something similar, and Qg's kill was the work of a SK / other 3rd party (Qg at least had better village cred). Paranoid Gun Owners are kind of a bastard role, but I wouldn't put something like that past MJW.

Sunrise did post this however:

Quote:Doing my duty to look for bad logic and apparent contradictions...how crazy! smile

If the top two vote recipients I prefer lynching Jowy over Rowain, but I also prefer siding with the Rowain voters on the margin. I'll ponder that, and will be on through the deadline.

Which, while far from an "all-clear", does in my opinion give Jowy some village points.

Bear in mind Sunrise didnt know who was scum anymore than the rest of the village.

Also Sunrise seems a good standard kill attempt for scum, good player but less likely to be given protection than say the brothers

The above points I would have suspected Bob to have picked up on, as of his post 309 it seemed he was starting to get heat, and that is a pretty wierd role even for MJW, I am going to say this is scum trying to protect himself from vigilantes.

Oh and Jabbz, I took the 2nd quote you listed (with the blue text) as claiming noobness as well. Unlike Zak though for a person playing their second game, I have no issues with you doing it

Anyway vote squarely on
Bob

This is a bit ridiculous IMO. It was Day 1. There were no options for a "Solid claim" for anyone. Its about suspicions. Who do you suspect, take your best guess? I ended up voting for Qg at the end of Day 1 and he was a villager in the end. I was not planning on voting for him today, but I did during day 1. Why? Because I was suspicious at the time and it generates discussion. There are no "solid claims" and using the "no one is suspicious so I didn't vote for anyone" excuse does not help the village. A) It stops us from getting a read on you. B) If you were a villager it reduces the amount of villager votes in a lynch meaning more weight is given to scum votes. I really do think you're avoiding making a vote though. Even now you are defending without making any accusations.

Who do you think is scum?

And why should you be insulted either way? I know lots of scum players worse than you. Don't try to be the victim.

Okay that's plausible. Though I think that anything in spoiler tags is a role PM based on what MJW said. That means he added that flavor text to a role PM as a hint in anticipation of Sunrise's possible death during the game.

Wait what do you think of Bob's role claim?

Bob, what's the name of your role?

I think its a lie.

I think he is scum worried that his cover is slipping and he is getting too much heat. The scum know there is a vig around (that's what I am assuming with the 2 kills) hence Bob could either die to a lynch, or quite likely if that doesn't work may be the vig's next shot (assuming multiple shot vig, which given they took a day 1 shot I assume they are).

By claiming this weird role of his, he may stop getting vig'd at night

Oh as an aside, if people are going to install Novice's vote tracking script, can I suggest they also take a look at zaks thread locking script too to stop accidental clicking into the lurker thread
