This is where we need Mattimeo to do his summation analyis posts. I'll give it a go.

- Last night a traitor was shot, and a traitor was burned.
- Brick claims traitor
- Jkaen claims to also have been shot twice and survived both.
- Jkaen claims to be able to mail people vests, that he mailed his first to Sunrise and his second to NOvice.
- Jkaen claims that MJW specifically told him the action was succesful
- Novice claims he didn't get a vest.
- Adrien claims he can confirm that Jkaen mails vests, and incidentally that Jowy burns bad people.
- Mattimeo claims tracker, and says that nobody visited Novice last night.

Some options that spring to mind:

A: EVERYBODY IS TELLING THE TRUTH

Jkaen did mail a vest.
Mattimeo doesn't see mailing because it happens earlier in the day, or its not a person-to-person interaction.
Novice did not get a vest.

I can only see this working if there is a diverter role, so that Jkaen's action was counted as succesful but the vest went somewhere else. It seems doubtful.

B: JKAEN IS LYING, NOVICE AND MATTIMEO AND ADRIEN TELLING TRUTH

Adrien confirms that Jkaen can mail vests, but Jkaen has lied about doing so to Novice.
Jkaen calls out Novice as a liar.

Why? Jkaen is scum who wants to get Novice lynched.

- Jkaen is bulletproof mafia. This means mafia have vests plus the traitors have vests. Lotta vests. And then who was the mafia's target if not Jkaen as he claimed? I don't believe they would have shot BaII, that reads as a vigilante shot to me.

Unless somebody else has reason to believe they survived a mob kill attempt, I don't think this makes sense. I don't think mafia would skip a nightkill just to pull so complicated a gambit.

- Jkaen is a serial killer, bulletproof, and mails vests. But if Jowy is the one burning people, then who has Jkaen killed? And why would he now set up a showdown with Novice when Jkaen needs to survive to the endgame?

- Jkaen is another vest-mailing (originally wrote mest-vailing there) traitor, same as Commodore. Vest madness. He wants to cause chaos today to mislynch Novice, who he sees as town, and help scum. This seems implausible to me too, because of the similarity in roles, and because I think a traitor Jkaen would want to stay quiet and try to keep protecting his scum leans.

C: NOVICE IS LYING, JKAEN AND MATTIMEO AND ADRIEN TELLING TRUTH

Jkaen mails the vest to Novice.
Mattimeo doesn't pick up on it because it doesn't count as a visit.
Novice lies about receiving it.

Why? Because Novice is mob or traitor who thinks he will get heat today based on Night 2 talk, wants to hang Jkaen instead. Perhaps he is gambling that Jkaen is a serial killer, and if he flips as one then Novice will get town points enough to carry him through another few days.

Also, Novice had no way of knowing that Adrien would corroborate Jkaen's story, which would have made this seem a safer gamble.

This would be an unusually chancey gambit on Novice's part, but it certainly seems possible.

D: NOVICE AND MATTIMEO SCUM TEAM, JKAEN AND ADRIEN TELLING TRUTH

Novice and Mattimeo panic as they see two more traitors down, decide to ensure a lynch on Jkaen by working together to destroy his credibility. They get screwed over by Adrien's power.

This requires Mattimeo and Novice to be willing to work together very closely, knowing that it will raise questions on both of them if Jkaen flips as a town vest salesman. So I don't think this makes sense.

E: MATTIMEO IS LYING, OTHERS TELLING TRUTH

Mattimeo is scum and wants to maximise town chaos. He intercepted the vest somehow as part of his egging routine (stealing from the mailbox?), and wants to now lynch one of Novice/Jkaen, then the second one tomorrow.

Possible I guess. Crazy role, crazy game.

I'm sure there are plenty of logic flaws above, I'm just trying to get it straight in my head. At the moment, I would lean to Novice being scum who got caught out by Adrien as the most plausible of many implausible scenarios, with Mattimeo as scum secondmost. And I guess Adrien could be scum as well, but I really don't see his motives, plus I have a town read on him.

Adrien, how much detail do you know on people's roles?

- do you know if Jkaen mails vests, rather than gives them in person?
- If Jkaen was a serial killer who happened to run a vest-mailing business, do you think you would pick up on that?
- do you know that Joey is actually town, or just that he can only burn mafia?

I should be more specific on my role and action, I'm a burglar, during this period of uncertainty I've decided to use my abilities to discreetly enter people's home, skim through their belongings to find out who they are (role+alignment) and find their contacts (I only get their role). First night I found out that Jowy is a mystic burning mafia aligned people (mafia aligned specifically, which means a 3rd party SK style is possible) and is town. Second night I go to BaII's place and find out he's a traitor, aligned with mafia. Unlike Jowy he had 2 contacts, including Jkaen who is a vest-giver. If he was SK I'd know I think. I'm keeping silent on the second contact because he's too valuable. Because BaII wasn't real mafia the contacts are not necessarily mafia.
