Same rune, same day, same place. At any merchants I could sell the rune for twice as much as the rune trader would buy for.

However, the minor beneath the major I was selling was the same price at both.

I like selling unwanted runes back to traders since this helps maintain a steady flow of runes for people to buy, but... Bah. Bah, I say.

For Major Runes (except Vigor and Absorption) just sell them to whatever place gives most gold. They're not as wanted as Minor or Superior since you pay 50 HP for +1 (compared to Minor) as opposed to 75 HP for +2 (Sup vs Minor).

Besides if the trader doesn't want to pay you as much as the merchants then (s)he probably has more than enough in stock to serve every account twice over already.
