[Spoilers] Dain of the Amurites Marks History Forever

That's my point, unless EitB changed the bulb list, then you shouldn't be able to bulb Divine Essence. Knowledge of the Ether comes first, as do a lot of other techs. I think the only change at all in EitB was moving Sorcery up on the Great Sage list.

Why do you think it should give you Divine Essence? Can you point me to the list you're using?

I don't have v11 installed.

I'm using this list. http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=485455

You're right, Knowledge of the ether comes first so there's no convenient way to bulb divine essence. My mistake.

Still should be handy to unlock Druids that early, of course smile. With Govannon's help, they can be basically archmages.

Alright so decisions. I've decided to delay building the cave of ancestors, I want to have a settler before fellowship of leaves finishes. I feel kind of dumb for starting that instead of building a warrior or two. But truthfully I haven't lost much momentum. The alternative would be to wait 6 turns for the city to grow and then grow again using a 5 food farm. So that's a lot of turns spent in which a second city could not grow.

Is this the fastest method to claim fellowship of leaves first? No. I could be sniped if someone neglected city #2. Am I okay if I don't get holy city? Yes, the most important thing at the moment is getting enough self sustaining cities that can build settlers and workers on their own.

The idea is that the capitol can focus on building kithra and then form of the the titan so that we have the best chance of not getting sniped out of those.

This is hard because all of these cities will need a lot of workers. I really am tempted to just sideline get poisons tech for Undercouncil and then pass the slave resolution. 20 gold for a slave saves me production for other build items

Question for lurkers: can you pass resolutions with only one undercouncil member? If so how long does it take you to benefit? And, how long does it take between resolutions being proposed and passing and between new resolutions?

No, elections won't occur until there are at least two members. It pays off pretty fast, if you start with the free Great Sage and bonus trade routes. I don't remember how often elections come around, other than it seemed to take longer than I wanted.

Hmm maybe basium or hyborem summoning is the only way to guarantee.

When the number of player cities is greater than or equal to the number of players times 1.5. So, in this game, after the sixth city is planted.
