Oh, well that's okay. I agree that your discussion of my punishment in the main thread probably swayed enough people to confirm me.

Anyway, yeah thanks MJW for stepping up to mod, and certainly revitalizing mafia here smile

Well that was the al three of the possible ngiht killers. I would have picked Mattimeo and Novice before the grand reveal day, but I was just trying to shut down the night kill.

Why was Jkaen in BaII's contact book?

Adrien lied about that.

Contact groups:

Goreripper, you and Jkaen for being interested in traditional weapons and not being mafia. Story reason: Gun control debate.
The mafia.
Jabbz and Brick for both being emo (online message board).

So AdrienIer was actually the drugger/investigator and targeted Goreripper and Jowy? I actually theorized about that earlier today but then decided that he wouldn't lie so much as a townie. Smooth play. smile

It was a fun game from my perspective. Trying to flush out townies was certainly a novel experience.. The concept really just works once though, which may be just as well. smile
If you know what I mean.

Apparently not. They were just the three without claimed abilities, and i had started to think that there were no wolves. only traitors, one of who had a night kill. My scumdar hits were you > Novice > Lewwyn > Jkaen > Zak in that order, before the end.

GG scum, oyou barely got a vote between you.

Bob:
Nothing more to say or reveal. I should point out that Jkaen moves at day so you cannot blow him up. (This also means the Egger is useless against him.)

Jowy:
Great play! cool You cannot affect the drug addict because he's so far gone your rituals cannot hurt him. This role was also designed to mimic arsonist to fool the wolfs which worked well.

Jowy Wrote:You are Mystic. Once per night per night you stay at home at perform a mystic ritual one someone. If they are mafia or with mafia they burst into flames. If not then nothing happens. You are told if you successfully get your scry off or not. You win with the villagers.

Gazglum. Nothing more to say. Your backup kill is considered to be at the sametime as the mafia's kill so that's why JKaen didn't die.
Gazglum Wrote:You are the hyperactive vig. Once per night you may shoot someone with a gun. If you fail somehow (target is dead/dying, you get roleblocked, kill a villager or target has protection) you can try again later at the same night. To do this you must send in a primary target and a back-up target. You are on team village.
Primary//Backup
Sunrise//Nothing
Jkaen//BaII
Lewwyn//Zakalwe

Jkaen Wrote:You are pro-gun control and want to stop them. You start off with 99x bullet proof vests. Once per day you may mail a vest (of your 99) to someone but it will arrive too late for that night unless you send it in the first 24 hours. You can give multiple vests to a person but if they get shot twice at the same time they won't have time to put on the other one and will die. You of course wear a vest of your 99 and don't have to use a turn to give yourself other one. smile You win when the village does.
Day moving is awesome! Actions:

Sunrise (vest was late for this time only)
Novice
Jowy

Qgqqqqq, nothing to say

Lewwyn, Mattimeo, Zakalwe. The wolf thread explains everything expect what Lewwyn finds. Aside from the items he actually found the items are just useless and maybe a little deceptive with the following exceptions: Goreripper drops a shotgun like Gazglums because he's a NRA member and AdrienIer drops creepy child pictures which shows he's a bad man. nono I also made it that you automatically steal an item from the initiate if Yakuza recruits but didn't tell you because only AdrienIer keeps his items after he "converts" so it's only useful against him.

Goreripper. Nothing to say. (Edit: Role meant to mirror Jkaen's and cause confusion. Vest was late both times. Orders: Night 1 to Zak & Night 2 to Brick.

BRickAstley. I wanted to make the ultimate FU role so I made someone voteless. I didn't tell you (or anyone else who could have gotten the role) to stop a possible rage-quit. It also could have gotten you killed because it's the only negative role in the game.

The rest of the traitors have no powers expect items that can mess up Lewwyn and Jabbz and BRickAstley being contacts. They were Jabbz, Novice, Rowain, BaII and sunrise089. I made each PM one by one to stop a possible confirmation by paraphrasing your role PM and to add a bit of flavor. I would appreciate it if I'm told why you didn't reveal until halfway on day three.

And last but not least AdrienIer band :

MJW (ya that one) Wrote:You are the Drug Addict. You win if and only if your the last man standing. scared You have done horrible things (made addicts out of children https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-RCHyWcfIU @3:20) and not even the mafia win accept you so you have to kill them too.

You main power is once per night is to sneak into someone's home and drug them. First you inject them with a downer and rifle through their belongings finding their role (including alignment) and their contacts. You can then just leave in which case they sleep through the first 24 hours of the day and cannot post (explained in my write-up). Or you can inject them with a hyper which can cause various effects: the most common ones is it merely nullifying the downer effect and the other common one is doubling their night or day actions. You can choose to always give the hyper or set conditions to give it to them depending on their alignment (village, mafia and third-party).

Other powers: You start with a bullet-proof vest because you have found them useful in the past. You use (and must use) drugs to your advantage by hypering yourself up to make your vote count more during the day even if you are not the one being voted on. If you get recruited by a different side you lose all your powers (vest is not a power) but still most win alone. You also must try to hijack doing a kill because you don't trust anyone else and your kill style will be different.

Advice: you don't want the village or mafia to get crushed at the start because then you are next. yikes You sense the village is more vulnerable to this.

Post game notes:
I quickly told him that contacts show up like Drug Addict AdrienIer and not just AdrienIer. I also added that last bit in response to how bad the roles were for town.

Getting pimp has the same effect on everyone expect Sunrise because he's built up a tolerance to drugs so it would have not effect on him. He's vote counting more means it counts as 2 but he cannot hyper himself because he's already hypering himself. If you don't have a powerole it does nothing expect it removes Bricks voteless by making him undepressed. It also makes it so your vote counts a little more if only two options are being voted on but things didn't come to that as he never hypered anyone.

For powerroles it just doubles your next actions expect for Qgqqqqq, the mafia factional kill, Zak and Bob. Zak can try to move twice but cannot because he's head is blown off. smile For the mafia factional kill the mafia can choose to double it or their powers. Bob's role is purely passive so he gains the ability to manually go to someone's house and blow himself up. He can choose to take down other people who visit that person or not. cool Qgqqqqq can double BOTH his day and night actions but can still only do one per turn.

The concept of this role was a SK who couldn't kill and is given other broken powers instead to compensate for this. It was also made to help out one side when they are losing by hypering them but that didn't work out at all. banghead

Edit: Actions
Drug Goreripper; hyper if town. Not town so drugged. Stolen contacts Double-vig Gazglum and Vest-giver JKaen
Just Drug Jowy
Just Drug Lewwyn; contacts stolen but it doesn't matter anymore. JKaen would be considered a contact if he was recruited on night 2 not night 3 here.

I don't have a problem with a only negative role, but it was very frustrating not knowing how badly I was handicapped. I personally would have preferred to know I had no vote at all so I could know that for my play.

Even with everything as broken as it is, it completely blows my mind that they even had a recruitment shot that works on town lol

It worked out in practice. It didn't matter on day 1 & 2 and day 3 your actions forced a massclaim that allowed the wolfs to take out the village. It would have been better to just inform you at the start because you wouldn't rage-quit (AdrienIer would be told that he's a double-voter explicitly because of this too). Or I could have just told you at the end of day one "your experience with todays lynch tells you the town doesn't care about your opinion at all. frown"
