Here's the list of roles that are potentially left in the game.
IMO understandable role ditches: MAFIA! (  ), vanilla townies, vanilla cop, lover, tourist, hider, paranoid gun owner, FBI agent
Qgqq threw away town roleblocker -> congraz for getting mafia 
Lewwyn threw away innocent child -> He probably has a gun 
Jowy discarding mafia tracker -> probably a mafia going for a gambit (getting town points from ditching strong mafia role), or got even a better mafia role (godfather / ninja etc.). I don't remember if Jowy's played mafia side yet, but seems like a guy who'd like it 
Novice throwing away doctor  . I'd still say he prefers playing a town. Same probably goes for Ichabod, and maybe for Zak too.
Gazglum is a smooth talker, and would probably like to get a chance to use those skills as mafia!

Looking at the role list, Novice might keep the mafia godfather, too.
How could you throw away the mafia lover, Meiz?

Roleblock is much weaker in town hands than scum. I'm counting 11 town roles I'd ditch roleblocker for.
Personality wise Qg would be someone who I'd expect to pick scum if given a choice.

I love playing scum, it's so much fun. But town is more of a challenge on this forum, and tracker is kind of a weak role for mafia.

Noting I'm going to be worse at psychoanalyzing what people on an individual basis would reject/keep, I think unless something else really pushes us in another direction we should lynch someone who discarded a town power role on the principle that it is more likely someone got mafia/town and just preferred Mafia as a side than they got 2 very good town power roles and rejected the first one.
Given that... initial vote going on Qqqqqqqq. Other suspects include Lewwyn and Azarius (EDIT: and novice). Though Meiz said he'd understand someone discarding cop, why? Cop seems like... really good.
Finally, trying to avoid going too deep into the maths, but it's worth calculating what the probability that at least 1 player got scum/scum is, since it affects the degree of town-lean we want to give people who rejected scum. Doing that now.

Ah, I thought the lovers would have their own victory condition. Not such an exciting role, then.
Cop =/= vanilla cop. Though I agree the latter is also a fairly strong role to discard.

I don't think discarding innocent child is a particularly out of character move for town Lewwyn. Innocent child is a passive role, and I think Lewwyn would happily trade up for one that gave him more agency.
Azarius, that seems a big throwaway.

@Meiz If you think Novice prefers playing as town, then why do you think he threw away the doctor role?
To everyone being confused on why I discarded vanilla cop, note the vanilla part. All it can do is return a result of vanilla or not vanilla. So vanilla town, or a mafia goon. There already aren't very many of those in the setup vs everything else, and going by the discards it sure looks like that aren't going to be many of those in the game.
