Uhh because novice hadn't claimed cop yet when I voted for him? This is a flagrantly bad argument.

Because as I noted, I didn't make the case myself and just found what someone else wrote persuasive. And that post was written day 2, so not sure how I could have been persuaded by it day 1.

I for some reason thought the phrase "but I found the case on TT from yesterday persuasive" was referring to the day before day 2. Given you didn't link the case I think that's a pretty good assumption.

About the 5 (Azarius, Bob, dtay,Fenn, Jkaen) I mentioned earlier:

Jkaen is moving more and more to from first to second tier scumminess with his posts.

Bob and dtay are currently leading. I add that Bobs post is a step in the right direction. I would like more like it.

Fenn: I can't help it but on most of his posts I get a scummy feeling:

Well, if Lewwyn was angling for a scan on himself to clear him as town, the Mafia would want at least one of the cops to be able to get a result on him - and if Q is innocent they'd know he is one. So they'd leave him be for one night in the hopes of him scanning Lewwyn.

For one they don't know if Qg is innocent as he might be SK 2) there is nothing that forces a Lewwyn-scan and if for example Jabbz who was a runner-up and a likely target is a scum-PR they are even more f***. No there is no smoking gun but most of his posts ping my scum-dar.

Although, not to undermine my own case, but I could also see this as a knee-jerk reaction from scum, not really considering the fact he himself is a GF. I never bought into the theory that Lewwyn would deliberately try to attract suspicion.

But he did. There is a reason why he was leading the votes just before Matts reveal. And with just 4 hours left that's a rather serious thing.

He did attract suspicion, or he did so deliberately? I'm not following.

My own theory is that Lewwyn was forced to "activate" in order to save Jabbz. (This was when the votes were swinging from Q to Jabbz.) And in the process he came off as scummy. So the conclusion is the same (Jabbz being scum) but I don't think it was deliberate that he attracted suspicion. He might be OK with a couple of votes finding him instead, to take some heat off Jabbz, but ideally he would want the votes to go elsewhere. He probably got much more heat on himself than he was hoping for.

Are we saying the same thing, perhaps?

Maybe he didn't care as much as he normally does - hoping to get scanned and cleared that way fits the bill? But Lewwyn loves to survive.

I was also surprised that novice didn't play the Cop-lover card especially when it was offered by Molach. At worst he gets lynched but knows another village-power (if someone steps up and claims to be a lover) at best he get believed and survives.

Ok sorry guys, I can't get through this all tonight, only about 3/4 through day 1 and am collapsing. I'm going to part my vote on bob mostly just for defensive purposes, and try to wake up 30 min before deadline to see what's happening.

The one read:
I feel like I keep auto thinking people who suspect me are suspicious, but jkaen's posts through 3/4 of day 1 are lackluster. Mostly very short, mostly not making reads at all, the only 2 of which are weird ones on Jowy that I don't agree with (basically saying moving your vote around is suspicious). I didn't like either the post on Bob or myself in the last few pages either, it was just, idk, forcing things to be suspicious when they aren't really? The sort of thing one does if they just want plausible lynch-targets to exist, not what one does if they are afraid of being wrong about their target.

Jkaen v bob conflict makes me doubt both are scum. I would lean jkaen over bob at this point, but again having very very very poor recall at the moment of what people said so who knows. Hopefully I'll be more productive in day 3.

I think Novice judged that a cop lover claim would only confirm his guilt. Many of us were saying up front that such a revised claim wouldn't cut it. The odds of flushing out a real cop lover would thus be low. Instead, he chose an appeal to the town governor as his final gamble, which might have worked, considering there probably were some townies on-line who weren't voting for him.

Ok, I'm willing to bite on that hypothesis and see what happens. I don't think Dtay has shown himself lynchworthy today, and I'm not at all sure on the Bobtrain. Jabbz.

Honestly I don't see Jabbz as the best option for today. I'm not convinced Lewwyn's targets on day 1 necessarily relate to him. Lewwyn wants to have targets for his suspicion that will not be lynched immediately, so he can keep adding content by continuing to suspect them (me & Ichabod especially) on later days. He might also want to avoid the popular trains just to give impression that he is bringing original content to the game.
