I don't see the point in wasting the day. Mafia will kill someone who we weren't going to lynch anyway.

By the way, lynching me gets village very close to lylo. You should be scared.

How do you figure. There are 11 players currently. Even if 4 more are mafia, which seems excessive given that there would be 6 mafia at start out of 18, we are still not near lylo. Unless I totally misunderstand why lylo is.. 7/4 seems pretty good odds still.

Just spreading the fear, I need all the help I can get.

Even so, it's more information. One less unknown alignment to harbor doubts about.

If people keep talking then hopefully it won't feel like a wasted day.

There's a chance that they hit a role that makes it easier for Azarius or TT to make a safe claim. But letting them keep their secrets for one more night could benefit us, if they're town.

Either way is fine with me, really. I don't feel very strongly about it.

Has any of you realized that, by acting like you are and lynching poor, naive SK-me, you are actually becoming what you are wanting to lynch, murderous serial killers?

Agree that we should lynch Ichabod.He has no reason not to backstab us and kill a prominent citizen. Revenge kill on TT, for example. It might not be in character, and probably he won't but I certainly wouldn't hold it against him - it's how this game is supposed to be. NAPs are not binding here. Ichabod dead means we only lose 1 tonight unless there is a second SK. Less risk, tempting (and fun) as the hired gun idea might be.

In my view, that also means I think no claims today. If Azarius isn't scum they know he has a decent role but not which. Watcher/Tracker, bulletproof, doctor (with some explaining to do) might be considered better than vanilla cop. Maybe someone else who misunderstood the power of vanilla...(sorry). Knowing which it is would help scum a lot. Bulletproff - don't kill him. Doctor - kill him.

Same with TT, if he's tracker they need the 'deep cover' scum to do a kill. If he is watcher they need to hit a low priority target.

I don't really see what our claims would accomplish - catch someone in a lie, we might still consider killing Ichabod, because mafia would have another gunslinger to do the nightkill. But I get dense from time to time, maybe I just don't see the claiming-scenario the right way.Maybe if someone walked me through the scenario in which claiming saves the day I too can see the light.

I still want to hear more from Azarius, who he suspects and why. No need to waste the investigative part of the day.

Ichabod, what do you think would be a good claiming order for tomorrow? After the PR-droppers...mafia discards or vanilla towns?

What reason does he have to backstab the town, though? It wouldn't help his chances any, he's already been outed as a non-town. If he kills a prominent citizen tonight we'd just lynch him tomorrow. Unless he's actually mafia fake-claiming SK (possible, but very unlikely) there's no point.

We shouldn't assume that we'll be lynching Ichabod tonight, there's still plenty of time to catch scum today. Azarius, you need to pipe up!

I suppose losing an extra town in the night would be bad, but he'd only be able to do that if he was SK, which I don't think SK!Ichabod would do.

I would say that unless we have a very solid feel on someone else, yes we would lynch Ichabod. If we have a solid feed on someone else though...

That's fair, just don't want us to lock ourselves into an Ichabod lynch right away.
