Zach is already working to railroad this shit in a new direction. He just looks more and more scummy every post today.
WW35: Not Another TPS Report [Game Thread]

Okay, time to claim. I scanned Lewwyn Night 1, and TT Night 2. Both nights I got the result "No Result". I crumbed this both days:

Day 3 I tried to softclaim a Meiz-scan, to try and get reads on him, and also to motivate myself to look closer at him. I was hoping that scum might out themselves by jumping too eagerly on if he was, in fact, scum, or try to get town-points out of supporting him. Plus, of course, keeping discussion going on an otherwise dead day. Unfortunately, I wasn't really around to push it as much as I hoped, but the town seems united by a high opinion of Meiz, which IMO clears him relatively solidly. That Zakalwe was so fast to respond positively detracts a bit from that, as he's probably the strongest non-dead non-SK player about, but still. Probably irrelevant, but I crumbed that here as well: (February 3rd, 2015, 16:47)Qgqqqqq Wrote:(February 3rd, 2015, 15:30)Meiz Wrote: What's your opinion on me Q? N O R E S Y (U) L T Which was a very difficult post to write ![]() I really should've chosen someone other than Meiz, in hindsight, as he really has played quite towny. I was going to do Molach, until I realised no-one was talking about Meiz and I had a last-second bout of paranoia. Now, I had presumed that Bob's flip meant I'd been jailed both nights and they'd lucked out on a Matt kill (as we had no doctor), but as Jabbz's claim means they must have a strongarm, I'm wondering if that means they have a roleblocker as well, who they've trusted to keep me under wraps. In which case...I think I'd rather TT not claim which one he is, so that they don't know whether to afraid of sniffing around anywhere near me or not.

Okay I believe both Jabbz and Qg and we shouldn't lynch either this game. Qg I had a feeling you were trying that with Meiz. It was a good plan, but town became complacent and stopped playing after the SK confessed. I'm glad things are picking up again.
TT and Azarius it's your turn.. (February 4th, 2015, 11:32)Jabbz Wrote: I have serious issues with this. While Qg has been in my COT for a while, I can't help but wondering if I was as wrong about him as I was about Ichabod. I can think of no legitimate reason to not tell us who he scanned last night. It accomplishes nothing except obfuscating the scenario. This doesn't help, it hurts. Qg should know this. So why do this? This should now be clear. I will say, though, that I subscribe to the Rowain school of thought on claiming results - that you wait until the last moment it can be put into use (because I'm a wimp, I put that as halfway through the day rather than 2 hours before the lynch) so I can get reactions and responses out of people - a scum-claim on someone shuts down any more reads you get off them, and a town-claim does likewise to people pushing their case. Quote:On killing Ich. After thinking about it all last night and this morning, my thoughts are this. If Ich is SK, then right now, he is the single highest priority target for the mob. What is more dangerous to them then the last (or second to last) remaining free agent that can kill at night. Clearly, as yesterdays vote went, they can manipulate the conversation effectively enough to get us to turn on each other. I strongly disagree. A) the mafia can't kill Ichabod, if he's mafia-immune, /so they're never going to waste shots on him. And if he's two-shot bullet proof, then that's 3 shots to kill. I sincerely doubt they plan on shooting him 3 times, B) we are going to have to kill Ichabod eventually. There is no advantage to delaying on that to my mind, because he is not town-aligned and he'll just sit back and watch the body count rise. That doesn't mean we should stop discussing anything - indeed, that was the whole point of my Meiz-interlude. But we cannot afford to let Ichabod live, not when we have a good chance of killing a villager over him.

Your scan of TT on night two being 'no result' doesn't eliminate the possibility of him being a SK. Those are also both very safe claims to make, as Lewwyn was dead and TT is more presumed SK than scum, so no one is going to have too much trouble with your actual "reads." I am not sure I buy that you aren't scum, I don't however buy that you are the Sk.

So I suppose it comes down to me not buying the SK argument/thinking we should definitely lynch Ichabod today. Hang on, what do you think no result means? No result means that my investigation failed for some reason - which I'm presuming means I was roleblocked. The scan for not-mafia is "This player is not aligned with mafia".

I thought my theory made a ton of sense. Strongman kill Mattimeo first, who was the designated doctor target, and hope that Q is jailed. Then strongman kill Q. The first kill worked, and the second failed because Q is a SK. If they have a roleblocker, then yeah, maybe they'd let him live and block him instead. So that was obviously the only plausible result Q could claim. Which direction did you want to railroad this?
If you know what I mean.
