Question here, what is this game's ruling on diplomacy? Also generally speaking if a game has not stated anything specifically on diplomacy, what is the default diplomacy.

We are playing with AI diplomacy only, ie: you can only send offers via the trade window, and no chat messages.

There isn't really an official RB default diplomacy setting, but the vast majority of games are played with the above restriction.

We can still use the chat within the trade screen?

What's the consensus with regard to Basium? The game settings has human takeover available for them, but I know Q is no longer available to do it. So, if I were to build the Mercurian Gate, what options would be available?

A) Someone else is found who can take over the Mercurians. I've messaged a few people, but so far nobody seems interested.

B) Q takes over anyway. Most of the current players haven't been updating very frequently, so I don't know how much spoiler knowledge he even has.

C) I can play both civs. I'm already last in the turn order, so Basium's turn would take place immediately after mine anyway.

D) AI.

What do you guys think?

All are fine with me. A and B will slow the turn pace, but at this point does anyone even care?

I'm up for either A or C ... tbh. Honestly I think I could play Basium turns fairly quickly b/c I wouldn't have as much responsibility as the founding civ, economically speaking.

I would be more than thrilled if you could take over as Basium, Tasunke smile
